I have some digestive disorders and i want to know if L Glutamine is effective to heal my problems? Does it take years to be effective?

What I have
-Bloating, even fasted it remains my stomach is inflated. Any food, obviously milk. But not pizza.
-Mass amounts of mucus coming up my throat after eating meals
-Hyper sensitive to small amounts of caffeine (painful stomach, diarrhea)

Taking otc meds after the fact is only temporary and can be bad taking it all the time. Obviously meds aren't designed to heal, only mask the problem.

L glutamine is good for intestines, settling your stomach mildly. On top of that it boosts the immune system, which is a huge benefit.
try it and see. )

Ive been using L glutamine since 2002, and have paid top dollar for ast brand for years, and various other brands. The best L glutamine ive found is Millennium Sports Glutamine (Ajipure) MST technology is top notch. I havent found better. Even before I was an MST representative, I've used MST L Glutamine.

Glutamine is pretty cheap. Some people says it works others say it doesn't do anything. Since it's pretty cheap I would just pick up some bulk L Glutamine and throw it into you post workout protein shakes and see if you can tell a difference and if it works for you.

well said

could be good for digestion or immune system

I just used a jug of it and probably won't be rushing to get anymore....when I was having digestive problems I started using psyllium husk fiber, probiotics, and digestive enzymes...to me those things made a bigger difference than I've ever noticed from l glutamine

I don’t think Glutamine will be of too much help for those issues.

Have you spoken to GI specialists about this?

L-Glutamine is good for gut health. 2-5g should be good.
