is taking a multi vitamin and mineral supplement worthwhile? if so which one?

I eat a decent diet but I don't eat much vegetables and fruits. I was thinking of using a multi vit.+min. so that I get all the right stuff. Good idea or waste of money? What vitamin should I take?

I don't want something with added ingredients that could aggravate hair loss btw (which i appear to be prone to), like tribulis and whatever else that could be suspicious

A multi-vitamin is a pretty solid, cheap addition to your supplement plan -- some of them are pretty comprehensive as well (NOW ADAM is a good one IMO).

You can always add additional things to it (e.g. mineral supplements) but most may be largely unnecessary.

NOW Foods Adam is a great multi vitamin for men, which also contains an additional ingredients that are healthy for prostate and such.

3 in the am and 3 in the pm, and far more than just a multi.

I love MVP with ZMK or Orange Triad both are my favorite i usually stock up on them when they go on sale. NOW's Adam is a nice cheap multi vitamin.

It is the MOST important supplement as it contributes to health. And without good health you can't have gains!

Orange TRIad is the best multi out there, in my humble opinion. The immune booster complex in it, as well as the joint support make it an easy choice!

All I take is a Mens 1/day w/ heart health
The One-a-days that you buy in the drugstore are grossly underdosed and sourced cheaply.
Just compare the labels of any supplement companies product to those.

Plus, since we are bodybuilders, its imperative we take more vitamins as we use alot more than the average "one,a,day" guys

Ya you don't take all 6 OT's at once, split it up 3 & 3, or 2.2.2
There must be that many, in order to get all the good stuff in them and still have it be a complete multi

NOW ADAM is not a quality multi...

Try Source Naturals Life Force Multiple if ADAM is your thing

Orange Triad
MHP Anavite

All are pretty good options.

Multivitamins are very much worthwhile to me.

I really like Toco 8 and would enjoyit if you could get that kind of quality in a couple vitamins :D or buy singular vitamins that encompass all forms of vitamins similar to Toco 8
