Honestly, I dont think it makes a dang bit of difference. I used to use all this special whey crap, ion exchange yada yada, now I use the cheapest stuff I can find and still gain the same.

It depends on what you have planned for it. I will say having hydro whey in Intrabolic is very worth it. :)

A whey hydrolysate can be very beneficial immediately post workout. Other times, not so much.

It depends a lot on the degree of hydrolization too.

is it delivered that much faster than whey isolate that the timing would make a diffence...if they are both consumed 30 minutes after finishing a workout?

I think its a wonderful spike to any protein drink. I have a special blend of Hydrolysate, isolate and casien.

I been using a BCAA spiked Whey H intraworkout and my recovery is amazing.

I also workout twice a day.

faster digesting?

Would you need evidence that casien is slower digesting than whey concentrate?

By definition it is more quickly absorbed. It is already partially digested.

Obviously...

What I'm getting at is whether or not the increased speed of absorbtion is truly worth the increase in cost. I've used all types and have not noticed a difference.

Gotcha.

Like I said, I notice a difference using it post workout but that's about it.

I just can't stomach it during, but then again I haven't tried the flavoring systems used in something like Intrabolic yet.

Yea.. I use whey conc. now post-WO and I feel the same as I did on fancy blends. The cost is significantly less. I still use the blends sometimes but not as much.

I think protein during WO is pointless but thats just me.

IMO save the money, most people can make changes to their diets that would make a greater diffrence. (even something small like more carbs Pre work out.)
