Tx state bench record was 192 lbs.
She reset the bar a bit :)

She missed her 2nd bench attempt because she got out of her shirts "groove" so the shirt tried to dump it on her face. This rattled her nerves a bit so to say and she didn't push for the 240 this time.

She will be doing a collegiate meet in April competing for a scholarship.
About to be working her lockout power with the aids of bands starting this week. She will be looking to reset her new record to by a few nice lbs ;)

Her deadlift she set a new PR of 365. She has the power for that 405 but it just didn't happen today. Will be working some heavy 18" rack deads (conventional stance) to build that top half power along with some elevated sumo deads (stand on 100lb plate) to build more explosive hip power for getting the bar off the ground.

All in all she had a lot of fun.
She won her weight class in both bench and deadlift as well as winning best overall female lifter award for bench and deadlift. Got a total of 4 awesome trophies and 2 tub's of Labrada products (one preworkout and one protein powder)

pain is kicking in now.
Louzee say's I'm not as chipper/goofy and overall loving as I usually am. Am much more serious now and more distant. Honestly about the only thing on my mind now is my next meal, after that it is the dreaded cardio to come.

Thank god I have a wonderful girl to stick it through with me :)

Here is a little something from today's back day.

Bw 160.6lbs this morning
Almost there now! Just 18days left to go

In my garage gym

The hardest part of the whole thing has got to be the cardio.
I'm used to dieting, even though I never quite did it right, especially for getting lean like this! But whether I did it wrong or right I was always very good at sticking to the diet. But the cardio is pure death.

Looking forward to tomorrow, its my carb day =)

Ohh yeah waist at the belly button is like 28" flat now.

Update:

Well the show didn't go as planned. I just wasn't lean enough in the beginning and had to attack cardio and diet WAY too aggressively to get the conditioning. Ended up losing all the size that I did have, but I did get striated glutes.

3/30/12

3/31/12

It's all good though, I came out of it with a TON of knowledge and ended up being the leanest competitor at the entire event. I have achieved extreme conditioning, now its time for Size!

6/27/12 206lbs Making progress, I'm sure of it!

Louzee and I have been biking a bit lately (bicycle*)
Getting in around 10miles+ per day or so (real bikes not indoor stationary) Tag on Tx lovely 98F+ weather and you got yourself a recipe for easy fat burn.

My personal best bike ride I ever did solo was around 30-35miles in 1 sitting. I'm thinking about doing it again soon, perhaps over the weekend early while there isn't much traffic on the road to run me over.

Yes you are my friend !! And even though the competition didn't go as planned, you have plenty of time to try again, you already showed you have the knowledge and determination to get down to that kind of conditioning, I myself never competed, but I can see and imagine all the hardwork that goes to get so defined. Wish you the best on your next try ! And I'm digging the beard, you look better with it
