"Creatine works on the phosphocreatine and ATP systems while possibly buffering exercise produced hydrogen protons (acid), while caffeine demonstrates a powerful stimulation for the release of epinephrine."
***Finaflex Creatine and Energy***
I have been given an opportunity to log this product for 30 days. It is a creatine blend 5g total and contains 100 mg of caffeine. From the start these two ingredients together caught my eye, because in the past there has been controversy between the two together, and furthermore because they are two of the most effective and common supplements.
About me:
I am a 29 year old male. No known health issues.
6ft tall 220 lbs
My diet is very low carbs, all carb intake on my heaviest workout days: intra and post workout. No carbs, high fat and protein on my active rest days and rest days. My current goal is recomping at 220 to lead into my summer cut, which i am hoping wont bring me down more than 10lbs. I aim to do my cardio midday and workout in the evenings. I have a desk job so i try to hit the gym 6-7 days a week, twice a day in most capacities.
My training style is a mix between heavy compound movements and hypertrophy work. I base most of my workouts on classic barbell exersises. Deadlifts, Squats, Bench, Overhead Presses and some Olympic lifts. I incorporate barbell complexes and Hiit into my cardio, as well as callistenthics and agility work.
I have tons of experience with creatine in the past. I have tried many types and blends. My last run was over four months at 5g mono a day and towards the end of my use an additional 5g post workout. I have been detoxed off creatine for approximately 8 weeks, i am hoping to see some great benefits from this new blend containing creatine anhydrous, which ive never taken before.
I also am a big coffee drinker and enjoy espressos and dark roasts, black with no sugar or sweetner. I take these before workouts and in the morning, so i am no stranger to caffiene. Not to mention preworkouts and fat burners ive taken in the past.
During this log i will be taking Finaflex Creatine Energy in many different combinations and times to fit my regimen and find the best uses. Since this is the unflavored version it is very versitile and will allow me to be flexible in how i am taking it. This is a huge plus for me as far as making it an addition in my arsenal.
