The main problem with sending aid to Ukraine is how it was presented and what we hope to accomplish.

To say they will lose the war without additional US aid is correct. But no one said Ukraine would win with this additional aid either. Or how much total aid is needed to reach the point where someone might claim Ukraine will win. Or that in all likelihood Ukraine will never win. Russia is willing to lose millions of bodies and endless material until they eventually win. That has been their strategy for over 100 years.

But in that case, would we let Russia take any country they want just because they will be determined to win in the end? Of course not!!

Crazy conspiracies theories aside.... Ukraine is more deserving of our support than Vietnam, or Iraq, or Afghanistan. And they are just asking for military equipment and support. We wasted trillions in Iraq/Afghanistan and untold American limbs.... and the minute they had to fight for themselves they folded like a cheap tent!! At least the Ukrainian people are willing to fight for their own freedom.

And what about demanding we secure the US border FIRST before any additional Ukraine aid?? The uniparty sold out damn quick on that promise.

Then in 2010 Ukraine went back to a Russian leaning "puppet". And in March 2014 the Russians invaded Crimea and stole it.

So in May 2014 the Ukrainians elected a western leaning government again (Poroshenko), your CIA "puppet" if you like. The Euromaidan Revolution. And maybe they just didn't like Russia taking parts of their country by force.

The IMPORTANT thing that you keep missing (and you've probably zoned out on attention span by now and missed it again) is that the Ukrainian people got sick of both Russian and American "puppets" and elected a third choice in 2019. A relatively unknown comedian named Zelenskyy who beat the US puppet of 2014 (Poroshenko) and also the Russian puppet offering with 70% of the vote!! The people spoke loud and clear!

Do the majority WANT to fight for their freedom and their homeland?? Its a pretty clear yes. Zelenskyy was offered a flight out of there, and he chose to stay and fight. Ask the Mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, a world class boxer who could have easily left, but chose to stay and fight. Ask the thousands of college age kids who took turns filling Molotov cocktails in the first days of the war. Are these Palestinians really all that "innocent"? I am sure some are, but not as many as the anti-Israeli media would want you to think. The terrorist Hamas government are all Palestinians, elected by Palestinians. Who do you think dug hundreds of miles of terror tunnels (Palestinians). Who stole the US foreign aid money meant for food and schools to build these terror tunnels and making missiles to shoot into Israel (Palestinians). On the Oct 7th attack, ordinary Palestinians also ran into Israel and took hostages of their own and brought them back into Gaza. And the terrorist Hamas government still has almost 80% approval from the Palestinian people.

There was no "genocide" on October 6th. It was the actions of the Palestinians, committing genocide to the Israelis on Oct 7th that put them in this situation. If Israel completely stopped fighting tomorrow, the next missile launched would be from Gaza into Israel.

So yeah, if you support terrorism, seek to kill your neighbors, and illegally hold civilians hostage, then you need to be treated like a terrorist yourself. Comply or die. Make better life choices....

Yeah, Israel made a mistake and attacked a US spy ship in 1967. The covert spy ship was operating close to Egypt during a full blown war between Israel and Egypt, and these things happen in war. You simply have ZERO knowledge about military matters. 34 US military deaths in an accident? We killed that many of our own guys in the Gulf war with friendly fire accidents. We lose nearly 10 times that number every year in training accidents during peacetime. Its a dangerous line of work, as you must know with all your personal experience!

It's simply moronic to claim Israel doesn't deserve our friendship and support because of a minor battle accident in 1967. We are now best friends with England who burned down the US Capitol in 1814. We are great friends with Japan who attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941. We are trading partners with Vietnam who we fought in 1975. Heck, we are even great friends with Germany who tried to take over the friggin' world (TWICE !)

Yet you only cry about the money to Israel. We have given the Palestinians foreign aid, too (roughly $40 billion so far). And they used it to build an underground tunnel network, and make missiles to launch into Israel. On Oct 7th alone, Gaza launched 3000 missiles into Israel. If those missiles weren't shot down, they would have killed many thousands of innocent civilians. Yet you cry about 'innocent' Palestinians being killed....

There is a real genocide happening, and its against the Israeli people. Again. You might as well buy yourself a brown shirt and change your calendar to 1938....

This Johnson guy really screwed up, and I honestly wanted to like him. What happened to the demand that the US secure its border FIRST, before any further aid to Ukraine?? He got a scary briefing (from the Deep State intel guys) then the border should be even more of a concern!

And how about finding an offset for this additional money. We are spending $1.5 trillion more every single year than pre-covid levels. Plenty of room to cut! Removing illegal aliens could more than offset all of the foreign aid ever sent to Ukraine in just a single year. Or we could cut some windmills and green BS energy stuff to easily pay for these war materials, if Dems thought it was really all that important
