Im about 2 1/2 weeks in to my first cycle. I’m having issues with constipation and also erection quality. I’m 35 year old male weight is 183 height is 5’5
My cycle is as follows:
Test e 500mg/week
250mg monday
250mg friday

I read estrogen levels could effect bowel movements, but being that maintaining an erection has been an issue it makes me wonder if it’s a blood pressure issue. Desire isn’t an issue at this point. I actually thought the constipation was on part of the amount of whey I’ve been using. But once the erectile issues lasted more than a day or two I’m beginning to wonder. I’m going to stop by cvs to check my blood blood pressure after work.

I have aromasin on hand, and nolva for emergency use. Im taking saw palmetto and celery seed daily for prostate and blood pressure respectively. I also just ordered cialis for additional blood pressure support. Without bloods I know it’s a shot in the dark, but hopefully someone has experience with a similar situation.

Nobody can help you with 0 information. The only logical answer without any bloodwork or anything is to say you’re probably having high estrogen issues although for most men high estrogen issue doesn’t even cause ED problems. Get bloodworks done and see what’s in there.

Seems some people are unlucky and prone to every possible side effect. Honestly, if you are having issues on just 500mg of test. Gear usage is probably not for you.

I cant see how test could cause constipation tbh. Never did for me. Nothing did in all honesty, not even tren. I am thinking its diet relates.
Have you drastically increased your calories?

ED is another thing. Could be high e2, low e2, elevated prolactin.
And then there is a small group of us (includes me, i have 0 libido on test) who simply dont have libido whenever shut down occurs. There are other hormones and neurosteroids being produced which probably play a role in libido which get lowered when HPTA shut down occurs.
In that case things should return to normal after pct and when body finds homeostasis again.
I would advise cialis like everybody else but from experience know it doesnt do anything if libido is absent. Women are just pieces of art.

Edit: i see you say desire is not an issue. In that case it is probably high e2, try quarter of aromasin tablet 2x a week. And cialis/viagra will help.

Thanks for your reply. I have increased my calories quite a bit to bulk into February but I don’t track. Cialis is on the way. I have liquid aromasin 25mg/ml. So when you say a quarter tablet, that’s 6.25 mg?

Thanks for your response. Looking at privatemdlabs for bloods. https://www.privatemdlabs.com/lp/female-hormone-testing.php.
That’s the correct test right?

6.25 twice a week is where i would start correct.
That dose will not crash e2 and you will see whether you feel better (that means e2 was too high for you)

The problem with just doing bloodwork without experimenting is that while 50(e2 reading for example) could be high for someone, it could be fine for another person. Hence bloodwork can give you a general idea but not absolutely whats best for you.

This is the one I used last and for the price it's usually cheaper then just picking one or two specific tests. Has everything except free test and lipids. My blood draw was on a Friday and they had my results posted on Monday.
That’s quick, I’ll more than likely go with this. Thanks for your feedback.

I started this protocol tonight, I’ll see how it goes. Thanks for the help man!

Possibly high e2 / high prolactin hurting thyroid function which could cause constipation?

If I was getting fucked in the ass I'd have constipation and erection issues too. It's not rocket science.

i think the libido issues may be from the saw palmetto. I think i remember something about it acting on the androgen receptors and blocking DHT production or some thing..

bro hands down, the best thing for your prostate is Helios. we are all on it. and those who aint... well what can i say.

I'm no doctor, but I think over the years I've seen on the boards just about every side-effect from gear you could imagine.

I can't say I've ever heard of testosterone causing, directly or indirectly, issues with sh1tting.

On lunch brake so only scrolled to quick.

Drop the Saw Palmetto. It's an anti-androgen and can effect libido/erection quality. Prostate is better controlled by controlling estrogen. High estrogen can effect libido/erection quality as well.

Hormone panel would be your best start.

Sorry fellas been super busy with school/work. Thanks for all of the replies. Blood pressure is 134/86, so a bit out of range but nothing crazy. Began using 5 mg tadalafil daily. Water intake is at a gallon-gallon and - half per day.

Interestingly enough, I think the cialis has helped with constipation, because it has improved quite a bit since starting. Erections are still suffering though. It’s kind of odd, things start strong and it slowly softens.

dropped the saw palmetto 2 days ago. Just waiting for a day off to get my bloods done. In the mean time, hopefully the cialis continues to help.

So my issues have essentially cleared up with the introduction of cialis and using aromasin 6.25 mg once weekly. My blood work had been completed I’m just waiting on results - hopefully Monday.

However, it seems as though I’m having a mild allergic reaction in my right delt. There is some swelling below the injection site as well as redness and itchiness. Any input? I took Claritin to see if it reduces the symptoms.
