Calcium D-Glucarate, metabolic disease/Sly's syndrome

Ive taken Calcium D-glucarate dosed at 1g per day over the last few months as a supplement to remove excess estrogen. Aparently glucaric acid inhibits the enzyme beta-glucorinidase. A deficiency in this enzyme can theoretically cause a metabolic disorder, Sly's Syndrome. I've only heard good things about this product. I havent experienced any negative side effects on this supplement but is there a risk? or is the dose of calcium d glucarate not powerful enough to drastically reduce the enzyme to unhealthy levels?

Interesting, hadnt heard of Sly's syndrome.

I've taken Calc-D-Gluc before with Dim and it did
an ok job for an otc (although both are not cheap)

I like C-D-G too !!

Lost stubborn belly fat with it :0). (Estrogen dominance)

I would suggest cycling it to stay clear of any problems, had a quick look through Pubmed and we could develop Mucopolysaccharidosis Type VII (Sly's S) if unlucky.

In Sly syndrome, the deficiency in β-glucuronidase leads to the accumulation of certain complex carbs in organs. Go low carb may be the answer ???

If your genetics point towards a predisposition to cancer as mine do they are very helpful. I cannot link from pubmed :0(

Cheers
