I think you're probably too young to reap much of a benefit from it.

It's unlikely you'd need it for another 20 years at which point your natural hormone production is declining.

Even at 34, I only notice benefits from a very low dose of 10-15mgs.

Your levels at age 20 should already be quite high.

I had a friend that owned a supplement store in the mid 1990's in college. I decided to do a little lab rat experiment on myself. I used 800 mg. of DHEA. 200 mgs. (4x / daily) for 6 weeks. The results were nonexistent. This was a very expensive cycle, as DHEA was just coming out at the time. I was 21 and had never touched a steroid or prohormone. I couldn't tell any difference in definition, vascularity, strength or weight gain. I guess what they now say is true - DHEA won't work for you unless you are about 40 years old. Just my two cents...

While we're about it. Three years ago, I took 50mg of DHEA daily and didn't notice much effect if any (I was 40). Last year, Itried 25mg daily and experienced an interesting sex boosting effect. Then stopped quickly since running out of both the stuff and :chick:
My question is:
Has anyone experienced hairloss from DHEA or know anyone who has?
I might consider taking some again but don't want to take this kind of risk since I'm rather prone to MPB.
Thanx.

DHEA is known to have an "unknown" pathway in which it can convert back to DHT and cause hairloss. If you're prone to it and like your hair then I'd stay away. It's not worth it in my opinion.
