Day 18: Shoulders (tris/back)

Another Awesome lift today. 2nd set of shoulder press and my shoulders were pumpin. It felt great. All throughout the lift I felt an awesome pump and had huge vascularity in my forearms. All my lifts went up again, however i am still getting a pain in my shoulder which is affecting my heavier lifts and affects me pushing myself in the last rep or two(mistly when shoulder pressing).

Also today I lifted forever without a drop off. I did my complete shoulder workout out then Supersetted skull crushed and close grip bench as i didnt hit tris when i benched tuesday and then did a moderate cable row for my back. And finished with some abs(all weighted). I didnt want to stop lifting today(some days i could just stay in there forever haha) but did so i am not too sore for my lifts next week. It felt awesome though...pumped the whole time and didnt really feel much of a drop off from the very first set to the very last set.

Tomorrow ill be rehabbing my leg again, hopefully pushing my ankle alot more tomorrow because its feeling very good lately. Also tomorrow Ill be doing Bi's and Abs, probably not so heavy so that i do not affect back lift on monday.

Will check back in tom!

And thanks for the feedback. Its awesome to here your comments and suggestions!

Maybe try a military press instead of dumbells next time, who knows maybe it will fix the problem. Could be just the range of motion that's doing a bit of tweaking? Where does it hurt in your shoulder, towards the laberum or more joint?

I tore both Labrums...right most recently when i dislocated it(and thats whats hurting now). Had an MRI and while it didnt show a tear, their is one in my labrum because you can see the fluids get in the socket. That mri by the way was one of the most uncomfortable feelings ever(injecting dyes for the shoulder). I question whether i may have done something to my rotator cuff as well because of my inability to throw with a big range of motion but never got it checked out as I really dont want another surgery(had Microfracture in ankle a year ago)

Right now the pain is in the back of shoulder(feel it in deep as well). I cant throw a football with full range of motion. I can only go back to my ear, and when i go heavy lifting shoulders itll pop once in a while. I also cannot throw hard at all.

I have the option of surgery but I am trying my best not to go that way. Im hoping that lifting and strengthening it willl make a huge difference. It worked when I did the left but I dont think i did my left as bad a my right.

Sorry for taking so long to post but ive been really busy...however i will say it was worth the wait.....My lifts have all jumped again each lift is much easier and im jumping weights with relative weights......i am currently up to 186lbs and i feel awsome..much fuller, leaner and most importantly bigger.

before i begin to post my individual lift reviews i just want to make another comment on steeledge that i wrote earlier in my log but this week more than ever have i felt it......

With steeledge i am just focused....i hope that you can all realte to this but when i left and begin to go heavy in weights i get in a zone...it takes me awhile to get there usually but right now im there my second set and i am just in the zone my whole lift....i find it much easier to push myself right now and i love being so focused throughout every single set of my lift
This is really standing out for me right now and I am really liking this aspect of steeledge more than anything!

stay tuned....daily reviews will be up in a few minutes

Day 22: Chest/Tris

I really pushed myself hard today and have been all of this week, ive also been finding myself to go as hard as i want to push myself right now which is great....Felt a very nice pump in my chest and tris and when i was done it felt awesome.
I was able to very easily get my first 3 sets benching without a problem and when i went pretty heavy i struggled a bit, but i havent gone that heavy in awhile and it feels great to be getting back up there! 275 got once and didnt want to kill myself and rather opted to try 300 than try more reps....300 needed a tap halfway to get it up, but at least im gettin there.
DB incline wen heavier pretty easily, Flys went up, Skullcrushers stayed pretty even as my tris were burnin, I close gripped on a bench instead of ss with skull crushers(didnt really go too heavy), and my pushdowns went up.
As i mentioned in my last post....i was FOCUSED today....i was ready to lift before i was even down on the bench and i usually have to take a min to get in that zone...I love how easily focused I am getting.

9 8 4 1
Bench 205 225 245 275 300x.5
8 8 4
DB Incline 80 90 100
7 7 6
Fly 40 40 45
8 7 6
Incline Fly 35 35 40
8 7 4
Skull Crushers 95 105 105
Close Grip(EZ) 135 135 135
10 8 8
Pushdowns 140 160 160
Seates Dips 35x10 35x10 35x10

This lift was awesome...loved the strength, love the focus throughout and i love how im pushing myself as hard as i can and just keep goin.

Day 23: Back and Bis

I killed my back today. Again the focus was incredible and I just pushed myself as hard as i could go Supersetting a few of the things at the end. The great part was although i was dyin i wasnt slackin off during the sets.
Not the greatest pump in my bis, however my back had a nice pump and the vascularity is very good.

For some reason I feel like I am not getting as intense of a pump as the products should be giving and other people are getting. There is a pump, and I feel like it lasts alot longer but the intensity is not as great as I think its intended. Im guessing maybe i should try 6 pills b4 lifting of IntraXcell or maybe sipping SteelEdge during my lift.....

5 4 1 2
Hang Clean 205 215 225 225
8 8 7
Lat Pulldown 200 210 220
10 8 8 7
DB Row 100 110 110 110
8 8 6 4
DB curls 40 45 50 55
8 8 8
Seated Row 150 160 180
ss. T Bar row 225x6 225x6 225x6

Lower Back Ext. 3 sets of 10

Cleans today was very good....i screwed up my first time of 225 and was only able to get one cause my form was terrible....then went again and did it easily
Pulldowns went up a little bit, rows felt much easier this week...last week i was struggling get the reps this week they came much easier, Curls went up for those who care haha Then i supersetted seated row and T bar row and really really pushed myself Went heavy on T bar and then was burning on the rows but love doing them because they hit my upper baclk and traps as well
I was really able to push myself today
I also supersetted in cybex bench with pulldowns and nautilus flys with db rows to hit my chest and it felt really good

I think though that im starting to really feel the effects of the IntraXcell as my strength is really shooting up and although i am pushing myself really hard, I am finding it relatively easy to get all the reps in every set!

Day 24: Shoulders

Today was probably the biggest strength jumps of any lift this week
My shoulders felt awesome, although on my last set i chose to not kill myself for the last rep
And also just as a side note, my ankle is feeling awesome and has been for the past 2 weeks...no pains at all which is surprising because i drive a manual and will usually feel it then.....I dont know if the BA or something else is doing it but its starting to feel really good and tomorrow i may push my legs and see if i cant get a halfway decent leg day in.

Back to shoulders...It was another awesome lift....Had awesome strength jumps and i really pushed myself hard, probably too hard at one point in flys because i wasnt getting decent reps but i just wanted to lift and try to go as heavy as possiblr
The focus really is getting me and im loving it.
Had a very nice jump in shoulder press, did Push press today in stead of behind the neck military press, upright rows jumped up as did reverse flys....shrugs stayed same but wasnt trying to do a heavy weight just rep it out and did lateral raise very heavy probably shouldnt have gone so heavy right away but i was in the zone lol
I also supersetted lateral raise, reverse flys and db shrugs at the end of my lift and i really pushed myself there and was able to get through every set

10 10 8 6
DB Press 70 80 90 100x3
6 5 4 2
push press 135 155 185 195
8 6.5 4.5
Upright Rows 135 145 155
45/35/25 45/35/25 45/35/25
Plate Raise 10 10 10
6 5 5
Lateral Raise 40 40 40
DB Shrugs 85x12 85x10 85x10
8 8 8
reverse flys 130 145 160

I have probably already said this the past 4 posts but ill say it again anyways...the focus is just awesome from the SteelEdge i just want to lift and lift and just keep pushing harder
I also feel like I am really starting to feel the effects of the IntraXcell......I am really not fatiguing from set to set and rep to rep....While i may be physically tired at the end I am pretty easily finding it in me to get all the reps I can and I am enjoying it!

Also current weight is 186lbs
And i am getting closer and closer to my goals!!

Any questions feel free to ask....I would love to answer any questions people may have about the stack so feel free to ask away!

You could try to sip 1/2 serving of SteelEdge during your workout, and keep taking the IXL pre/post, because your IXL doses should be split up. I think that would work well for you

Good to hear that you are getting all your reps in during your sets! Keep training hard KA!!

Skricus knows what his talking about as I switched to that from dosing 3/4 pre and 1/4 during, and it is that much better!
1/2 a scoop for pre and 1/2 scoop for kombat cocktail!

Keep up the lifting Kixz! You have accomplished a lot in the log so far!

So this past Monday was the last day of my Sponsored log. I will be posting up my 1 month review, but continuing the IntraXcell log as I feel this product really kicked in around week 3 and it only makes sense to go at least one more month to reap the full benefits of this product.

Stay tuned my complete 1 month reviews will be up soon!

So...As you can see i have been jumping up every week. While this was expected, no doubt week 3 I started feeling the effects of IntraXcell.
I have not yet posted much for the next 4 weeks, but i can tell you that it is all jumping up more and more. Unfortuntely my bench is stuck, but i think i just have to correct my form because my incline is shooting up as are my tricep exercises.
Shoulders have shot up the past 2 weeks as has back. With back i am unfortunately stuck on my clean, but acredit this to my lack of leg lifting which i intend to begin to phase away from rehab to lifting heavier weights.

I without a doubt credit this stakc with helping me throughout this log.

I would say I gained a good 4 lbs over the weeks...not sire how much of it is actual weight but i would honestly assume most of it. I feel very, very lean on these products.

Product specific reviews to follow.

Steel Edge

First up for individual review: STEEL EDGE

I was very impressed with this product.

First off, I am still not sure as to why I did not get the great pumps that everyone else has but thats my one negative. However, good news is that I did feel a nice consistent pump. And everyone else who is testing has flet a great pump from these...so it looks as if for some reason it was just me.

Now for the goods:
The focus is awesome. When I lift and go heavy i get in a "zone". I am focused on just the weight and getting it up nothing else. The more focused I am, the easier my lift and the more I am able to do. However, it usually takes me alot to get in that zone.
Steel Edge seemed to put me in that zone right away. And not only did it get me there quick, but it kept me there. I was finding myself into it first set, last set, heavy weight light weight. If you can relate to this, this is truely an awesome feeling, and made only better by the fact I got in that zone so easily. For me personally, I found this product to work awesome for this.
I had tried a few differen pre-workout drinks and never felt that before. So this was awesome!
The energey was there too...Not a crazy hands shaking, type of energy. But you could feel it and it lasted most of the lift. I liked this because It wasn't overwhelming and did not upset my stomach at all, something that alot of preworkout mizes do.
Would I like a little more in there...possibly...but anything more and i think it may just be too much.(Everyone has their own tolerance) But I found this to be very good.

Overall: I believe this enhanced me lifts pretty well. It got me "in the zone" and "focised" better than anythign I have expereinced before. I personally, didn't feel the crazy pumps that everyone else did, but I felt a nice consistent pump going. I do wish I felt it more like everyone else, but still decent. And the energy was nice, again not overwhelming but definately noticeable and felt throughout the whole lift.

Based on my experience, if you like being focused and in the zone when you lift, you MUST give this a try.

Also, I think this is a great product for the money. If you follow the directions correctly, no reason this won't last 6 weeks.

Thumbs up here!

Where do I start.....

Early on, the initial effects I felt were It had me feeling very Lean quick. And this feeling has lasted the whole log so far. And it is pronounced....I really did feel much leaner for whatever reason.

In terms of my lifts, I felt the pump again, but for whatever reason not as great as everyone else. I wish i had and am unsure why, but it is definately a nice consistent pump, but I wouldn't say truely mind-blowing, unfortunately. But, thankfully every other tester it seems has felt those mind-blowing pumps.
(I would say as of recent weeks 5 and 6 i am feeling it alot more for whatever reason)
My weight stayed pretty consistent early.

During week 3, i really started to notice this kicking in in the gym. I was doing heavier weights and the same weights for more reps. From week to week, I seemed for the most part to get the same week more times than I had the previous week and without much of a problem.

I think you are doing this product an injustice to run only one bottle. I am really feeling it the past 2 weeks and my weights and reps just keeping going up and up.

Overall, I was very pleased with this product. I felt much leaner right away, and felt this still to this point. I felt a difference around week 3 in my lifts, really being able to jump up my weights and reps. I feel this is more pronounced in weeks 5 and 6.
Also, as a note....I agined a solid 4 lbs through the 4 weeks. I think alot of it is good weight and I am definately noticabley bigger from when i started. I think part of this is due to me getting back into lifting but I feel the IntraXcell helped me alot with my transformation!

If you are currently taking this, try 2 bottles. I am currently and am very happy with my decision. I believe you will get the most out of this product if you do at least 2 bottles and if you keep it to 1 you are limiting its potential!

I think Athletic Edge Nutrition did very well with these products. I dont think there are many that provide the feelings and benefits of SteelEdge and the results of IntraXcell.
And, I am not just saying this. I think if you read around you will find many of the same results and feedback for these products.

You really don't have much to lose....if nothing else you will not be breaking your wallet to try these out.

Good luck to all those who give this a try and I hope your results are comparible.
Thanks to Athletic Edge Nutrition for the opportunity. I really appreciated it and I hope my log was up to your standards and will help those trying to make a decision on this stack.

If you have any questions fire away!

I am going to try to keep this log going...I slacked last week but am logging again this week. Posts may not be up until late this week or Early next week as I am going to Ohio for a wedding, but i will be lifting and logging, so check back in!

Again, any questions/feedback feel free! I'd love to answer anything you have!
