So I have been doing around 3 weeks of dieting where my average caloric deficit is 1900-2000 due to physical work and eating clean foods, and taking Hydroxy Elite
I have lost around 14 lbs in 3 weeks, and still take creatine / drink a gallon a day. However I have not been training with weights due to an injury where I unfortunately can't grip anything. Should get back to the weights next week finally.
I am curious what should my steps be too resuming proper dieting without shocking the body? Should I cut my deficit to 1000 for the remaining 10 days of my diet and then do a few days of 500 deficit...eventually resuming maintenance for around a week? After that I'd like to lean bulk of about +300 calories. My protein intake is around 140-180g so yes it has been less than I'd have desired. Surely I couldn't have lost that much muscle though, coming off a massive 6 month dirty bulk (151-185lbs)
Any opinions on what to expect? Thanks!
