The Olympus Labs team has been growing lately, so we thought we'd take the time to introduce ourselves properly to the AM community. We're all on this journey together, climbing the mountain, so let's give each other the support to make it to the top and join the realm of the demigods on Mount Olympus!
Each team member will be introducing themselves over the next few days. Feel free to use this thread to ask us questions - What's our favorite workout routine? What's our favorite cheat meal? Do we enjoy long walks on the beach? Anything!
Let's start the introductions, shall we??

Name: Segansational
Height: 5' 6"
Current Weight: 161 lbs
Degree(s): BS Neuroscience, MS Cell and Molecular Biology
Training Experience: Started in '99, been training for about 15 years now.
Favorite Exercise: Barbell Rows
Favorite Body Part: Triceps
Greatest Athletic Achievement(s): Honestly, I was never an athlete. I was forced to play team sports, but never enjoyed them. Probably not the norm for most on here. I was never the fastest or the strongest. I hate cardio. So my biggest achievement was when I ran my first 5k. I've done multiple since then.
Favorite Workout Song: Forever - Drake, Kanye West, Lil' Wayne, Eminem
Hobbies: Outside of lifting, music is my other hobby. Grew up playing multiple instruments, piano, saxophone, bass - you name it, I did it. Nowadays I spend most of my free time playing guitar (self taught). It's the calming side of therapy, vs the aggressive side which I take care of with lifting. All about balance. Yin and yang. Zen.
Bio: Got into lifting back in high school and never looked back. The iron bug. At that point it was just me and a few buddies over the summer. Most have come and gone and now I walk the journey on my own. Weightlifting is really meant for the individual. I don't do it for others, I do it for me. I want to constantly improve myself. Push my limits. Test the human body. I don't call myself a bodybuilder, although that's the style of training I follow. That's what I would strive for aesthetically. But I have too much respect for those who are true bodybuilders, those who compete. This lifestyle takes discipline, hard work, time. Do I have what it takes? Maybe. I keep going at it day after day. At the end we'll see if the road I walked led me to my destination. Mount Olympus. I feel grateful to have joined the OL team, where I will continue my knowledge and growth.
If you have any other questions for me, ask away!
