Hello all, I was wondering if this would be viable, and if not, why not?

Thank you for your time.

define viable. What was your goal from the test cycle, and what do you expect to gain with the super DMZ

My goal is to bulk up, I have pretty low body fat, just have slight lower stomach fat, wouldn't mind seeing that go but my primary goal is to definitely bulk up!

And I see most gain around 11-17 lbs in 4 weeks, I wonder how that would change (if it would) when also using test cyp? Thank you my friend

well, how much have you gained on the cyp cycle ? Reality is the faster gains in shorter amount of time means harder to hold onto after PCT

Scale has gone up about 11 lbs so far (I'm on week 6), but benchpress and such doesn't seem to really be going up any faster than normal... I use zyzz's workout (hope I don't get a heart attack lol) and I don't seem to be gaining much strength or size, TBH.

Do you think introducing super DMZ is a bad idea for gains then brother?

that's not too bad. I don't think you'll see a huge difference in kept gains after the cycle, but you may see a bit more in strength gains. Its a tough call. 6 weeks is a little long too. I'd lean towards staying just on the cyp personally but not really a bad idea to run the DMZ

Thanks for the help. I just don't feel like I'm really gaining mass appropriate with using 600mg of test a week. I take in about 180g of protein a day, but maybe my calories are lacking... No joke, the hardest part about body building is the nutrition, not the working out...

Could you give me a rundown of your diet friend? Maybe yours will give me some insight

mine is pretty eclectic. Overall I hit around 200g of solid food protein a day, another 20-30 in "soft" foods like milk. Almost never use shakes. Carbs are in the 75-200 range depending on workout day or not, fats around 100-150g. I follow an internmittent fasting/lean gains protocol though so its overall eaten in 2 meals a day with some snacking, with one being close to twice the size of the other. 2000 calories in a single meal sounds high, but isn't bad :D

Very nice. I see you only eat 2 meals. That's so unconventional, but way more appealing to someone like me, who would prefer two big meals over 5 mini-sized ones. I like your logic. How much did you weigh naturally before you ever started body building?

And what's your meals look like on an average day? Chicken ,etc?

Ha, I weight just about 250, all fat. I went through a few years of back and forth cut + bulk and it was always a drag, i'd gain too much fat in bulks, and lose too much muscle in cuts. I got down to a pretty lean 193 (around 11%) and since have been eating this way with a slow but steady gain in lean mass. I did gain some fat as well over the last year, but mostly due to an injury and inconsistency in going to the gym more than anything. Around 210 now, at probably 14-15% bf. Meals vary, a bigger tendency for chicken for lunchtime but sometimes tuna or leftovers from prior dinner. I work from home as well, so I can cook for lunch fresh, which is nice. For a while I was on a kick of calamari steaks, that's a nice protein source. Dinner is a mix too, chicken, beef, seafood (usually salmon).

oh and my carb sources are usually beans, rice, potatoes or fruits. not much in the way of baked goods. fats are nuts, coconut oil and whatever is in meats.

Software development, not a bad deal
Nice, you major in software development or did you just get lucky?

And anyone else have any opinions on Super DMZ rx 2.0 in conjunction with test cyp?

You knew that's the one I was talking about right easy?

I figured, but the same either way whether 1.0 or 2.0 The 2.0 will likely be better for strength gains i'd say. I actually don't have a degree in it, but I've been doing it for 15+ years anyhow. Mostly good timing (start of the internet boom) and hard work.

Thanks. I see a lot of people reporting gaining 11-17 lbs, do you think this is going to be negated in my case because of the testoterone cypionate or what? Is it still possible for me to gain like that ontop of the test?

its hard to say but expect that if you do gain that much more on top that a fair bit will disappear in PCT.

Damn, I had heard people kept a lot of gains on DMZ. Am I different because I'm on test?

Thanks for answering these noob questions, not well versed in DMZ.

its more about total pounds gained in X amount of time. so if altogether you hit 30lbs on the cycle its pretty hard to keep all that. the slower the gains, the easier to keep in general. Your body tends to be resistant to change, and tries to get back to what it considers "normal". so gaining 6lbs a week in a short span of time doesn't always work out, but gaining 2lbs a week generally all of it stays.
