Quad recovered quicker than I thought, at least to the point that I felt comfortable going to the gym to bench. It's still so tight that I can feel the lump in my leg, but I'm going to work on foam rolling that out over the next few days. Instead of full pulls tomorrow, I might just do some SLDL work. Trying to be smart/disciplined about it.

Felt good overall...stopped at the food store on the way home, grabbed some boneless skinless chicken, eggs, cold cuts, and some sirloins. Looking pretty lean, and I'm excited to see how far I can really push it.

Hopefully AnaBeta get's here soon!

Going to post up my daily diet from now on so that people can offer some critiques and comments. Milas had mentioned that he felt my calories were much too low.

I'm either miscounting, or we're just that physiologically different (him and I).

Today:

Meal 1: 6 eggs + 4 egg whites + colby jack cheese + Franks red hot.

Meal 2: 2 whey in water

Meal 3: 1.5lbs ground turkey (made as a meatloaf) with some ketchup, italian seasoning, sprinkled some bread crumbs, and one egg.

I had applied for a clinical embryologist position and blown it out of the water. The supervisor had told me to leave a certain night open to go out to dinner with everyone from the lab...and now I received a letter yesterday explaining they've decided to continue looking for other candidates :confused:

Really ****ty market for college grads right now, even with a bio degree i'm having a hard time finding any substantial sort of work.

On the bright side of things...I have quite a bit of family/friends in the pharmaceutical industry and hopefully can land a job as a sales rep. It's a very challenging/demanding job, but with great rewards, so hopefully that pans out soon. Also, I just finished my 2 scoops PreSurge + 1 cap AnaBeta...so life is good :D

My quad felt great. There's still a pulled muscle that you can feel in the center of my leg that is constantly tight, but I felt no pain or pulling so I just kept going. These were all paused reps obviously to help work on speed, etc. etc.

Overall felt great, and one of the best parts of today was noticing I need to drill another hole in my PL belt. I had to drill two last year for my summer cut, and this summer I must be that much leaner because the drilled holes are no longer giving me the tightness.

So things are good, this is my 2nd day of AnaBeta...looking forward to the next few weeks for sure.

Ok, so I have decided to added Skiploads to my Sundays. This is basically a 5-6 hour (initially) refeed, and the rest of the week stays the same. Then depending when I return to baseline (initial weight) I will vary the refeed. I really think this will help break through into new levels of leanness. Workout day carbs are still ~120, and non-workout days ~50.

Excited.

Felt great today, definitely feeling the lower carbs as I near the end of the week...but that's a good thing. Looking nice and lean, and more vascular than ever. I must admit my vascularity and fullness throughout the day is starting to become more noticeable so I'll be on the lookout to see if it continues. The pulls felt fantastic, and this was my last week that was a bit tentative due to my quad. Next week and the following week we'll be going for some nice PR's or at least damn near close.

Today's workout was a bit more glycogen depletion focused. Since it's Friday and I'm behind a day on my lifts cause of the 4th of July Monday mishap..I didn't wanna do heavy military presses...so went with this:

Military Press --> DB Bench superset
Bar x 20
95 x 20 --> 55 x 12
95 x 10 --> 55 x 10
65 x 10 --> 40 x 10

BW x 10 --> x 10

Seated Nautilus Chest Press --> Seated Machine Shoulder Press
x 20 --> x 20
x 10 --> x 10
x 10 --> x 10

Done. Not used to this pump training with the low rest times and supersets, etc. etc. Overall felt good though, and I think it might be very beneficial to my overall progress as I diet down instead of the constant heavy lifting and long rest periods. We'll see.

For sure...getting those pumps even while on carb depletion is great proof anabeta is not just another insulin mimetic product but truly an anabolic

I agree, PreSurge + Anabeta has been phenominal. All of my training is fasted because I have been using IF for a while, and as my carbs have progressively gotten lower I've been able to maintain intensity, focus, and strength.

My right sartorius is still extremely loose and is able to be moved medially/laterally within my quad when I am relaxed. This isn't really normal, and although there is no longer tightness when I stretch or pain when I lift, I'm going to check in with some buddies of mine who are physical therapists and see what they say. I'm just glad it is not getting in the way of lifting for the most part, and although I've been a tad bit lighter on squats hopefully they'll give me some more info on whats up.

After yesterdays refeed and Anabeta...this is probably the fullest / leanest I've ever been physique wise. I mean it's a bit to be expected because ideally over time we are always improving to be better...but this is definitely coming along nicely. Vascularity is definitely above average, and I think that's the main attribute I've noticed from AnaBeta. The 275 sets felt like 135, possibly the lightest it ever felt. The 315 was just a huge technique faulter, and extremely frustrating at that.

Tomorrow is SLDL/Back work, to give my quads a rest. Maybe post some videos if I can! I must admit, based on how the 275s felt today in my hands...I'm very excited for the next three weeks in the gym strength wise.

Overall I felt pretty week. For some reason on Monday I only had 1k cals with 150g protein. So yesterday obviously was brutal. Yesterday was much better with 113gfat, 112g carbs, and 237g pro. So I'm back on track, and this morning I'm looking as lean/vascular as ever.

I may UP my calories a bit to the 2400 range and see how it goes. I think it will just help with the overall process of growth, strength, etc. I'm lifting too heavy for this ~1900cal BS lol

Felt awesome, strength is up and vascularity is up. I increased my protein even MORE over the last few days and I'm leaning out even more. Strength/size are becomming more and more noticeable by the workout. AnaBeta seems to be kicking in.

I will say this [with confidence] that AnaBeta increased muscle fullness and vascularity. I've seens veins throughout the day that normally are not there. I'm a naturally vascular person (thanks for the genetics mom), but these are even more pronounced and often ones that are not normally visible.

Looking to hit some nice heavy lifts in the next few weeks. Yesterday was my last day of Erase, and I shed a tear...but I'm also overjoyed because I know now know a product worth spending hard earned money on.

Hit a clean 435 x 3 @ 188lbs. So not an all-time PR, but I did drop roughly 42lbs and my pulls are catching back up to where they used to be. However, that took me like 25 minutes to stop because of my ECA Stack + Nitrates :eek:

Today is my last day of AnaBeta...and I'm EXTREMELY disappointed.....

I guess it was just a dream that it was a bottomless bottle :(

Anyways, this week has been fantastic. Fuller, leaner, vascular, and strength maintained VERY well despite low calories and cycling carbs. Will purchase again for sure. Going to miss the PES products. I am looking forward to trying bioforge v3 though that's for sure. Tomorrow I'm squatting, and then I'll take some pics Sunday morning and type up a final review!

Picked up 15lbs of CnC myofusion for $75 shipped :D

Also have some GREAT interviews coming up over the next few weeks. Life is good.

THE Review.

The core products to my results were Shift, Erase, Alpha T-2 and AnaBeta. Since I work for Athletic Edge Nutrition I was obviously using IntrAbolic, IntraXcell, and PSU.

Those however have been in my arsenal for months, even years, so have no direct impact on any abnormal results.

You can find the products here:

http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/pesupplments/erase-90-caps.html

http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/pesupplments/anabeta-120-caps.html

http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/pesupplments/new-alpha-t2-90-capsules.html

http://www.nutraplanet.com/product/pesupplments/shift-90-caps.html

I would like to preface the review with stating that I follow the lean gains dieting methods (IF protocol,etc.) and train for powerlifting. My goal and focus throughout this process was to drop weight (to allow me to drop a class or two in my fed.) and try to retain as much strength as possible.

As far as the individual effects for the products go, I can say with confidence that the Erase helped with drying and leaning me out quickly, and efficiently. One of the best products I've used hands down. AnaBeta helped with my fullness and vascularity for sure, and as best as I can tell aided me quite a bit with maintaining my strength. It's been about two weeks since the end of the log, I took one deload week and started up again last week. I saw no serious drop off in either my physique or strength, for those of you who worry about keeping your gains. I would like to add that likely due to the consistency of my training and dieting which prevents any sort of loss due to the ending of a supplement cycle.

Overall, I would say the Erase was my favorite product and one I will purchase in the future many more times, without hesitation. I am sure this resonates similarly with how many of you feel. The Alpha-T2 was an awesome fat-loss, and come next Jan/Feb...will probably be one of my go-to products.

Now AnaBeta, is a little bit more tricky. As a result of my caloric deficit I didn't really set up an "ideal" environment for AnaBeta to allow me to set some all-time PR's, etc. etc., so I could come back and shout off how amazing it is. However, due to my deficit throughout the dieting down I feel the benefits were much more subtle because it's hard to differentiate what exactly you're doing that allows you to retain your strength/muscle mass. As a result, I will be purchasing two bottles most likely before the end of the year, and doing a lean bulk to see what sort of numbers / PR's I can set with a more conducive setup. For the record, my goals of keeping my numbers within a range that I consider to be "strong" while dropping weight were achieved.

I'm not big on before/after pics because there's so many variables that go into how you look on any given day, and unless you prep the exact same way for the days leading up to your pics... there's going to be some serious differences. Nonetheless, I thought it'd be fun just to see if there was any noticeable differences in my overall composition. So I guess I'll leave that for you to decide! Most noticeably is how my sides tapered in over the two months. You can see in the first 2 sets of pictures that my waist tightened up considerably.

I'd like to thank Natty and the PES crew both for supporting me, and offering another honest company as an option for the community to choose from when looking for quality supplements. Look forward to trying out any new products you release in the future. PES is definitely one of my top 5 companies in which I will be utilizing as I continue to compete in powerlifting and enjoy the ever-evolving supplement industry.

Before / After:

Yes, I know my posing sucks. I hope they do the supplements justice, as I believe Erase and PES products to be a true gems amongst fake crystals and scams ;)

Please leave any comments or questions!

Thanks again Natty.

I'll agree with you on Erase - which is why it is a "staple" for me! :)

You're definitely leaner "after" - you did a great job with the stack you used, and I'll agree, if one eats and trains correctly for them, there is no reason why gains should ever be lost after finishing up a supplement. Looks like you have found a nutritional method and style of training that works well for you, which is awesome, and any supplements you use are just going to enhance that :thumbsup:

Overall, the fact that you would purchase further Erase, Alpha-T2 and AnaBeta is the truest testament to the products' efficacy. PES certainly delivers when it comes to results! :yup:

Looks like you have found a nutritional method and style of training that works well for you, which is awesome, and any supplements you use are just going to enhance that :thumbsup:

Overall, the fact that you would purchase further Erase, Alpha-T2 and AnaBeta is the truest testament to the products' efficacy. PES certainly delivers when it comes to results! :yup:

Purchasing AnaBeta is more of a curiosity, because I want to see what it can do with higher protein, calories, etc. The Erase is because it works, and it works damn well. Alpha-T2 is an awesome fat-loss product without that stim feeling throughout the day, which is very nice for me personally.

Thanks for stopping in Rosie.

AnaBeta with higher calories - at least for me, anyways - helps increase lean mass with little or no change in body composition, even when I wasn't able to train close to Maintenance or at all. Actually, I just mentioned this in another response not so long ago: "AnaBeta exerts a very strong hunger effect and I was eating on every hour pretty much - actually, the only product where I ate more than usual, and was getting close to the 10,000 calories a day that I used to have when I was cycling. I saw good gains, even though my goal when using it was NOT gains, and overall, I went up by 0.6% bodyfat the first time (used for two weeks) and maintained what I was the second time (used a full bottle) - do note that my TRAINING has the MOST effect on me re results and both times I was not even training at Maintenance, this last run only getting in 2-3 training sessions a week, with the second week of use a week off ALL training."

No worries, bud :)
