Day 17

Still had to drag my self to the gym today with 0 energy. I finally broke down about an hour before my work out and ate a power bar with some carbs in it.

Squat 185 10x10 superseted with
Standing calve raise 10x10 BW each leg
Hanging leg raises 3x16

Today was the most brutal workout i think that i have ever done. I know that sounds bad considering it looks like nothing. LOL After the last 3 set's i started getting light headed and nauseous. I have never puked doing squat but today i came fairly close. I think that without a hectic schedule and trying to go low carb (less than 100 none before workout) it wouldn't have been nearly as diffacult. Still i'm pleased that i've been able to up the weight every week and still finish all my sets. If i can hit 200 by the end of this cycle then i'll be really pumped. I think that near body weight for a 100 reps in a half hour is fairly respectable at least for me.:soapbox: Most of you guys on this site might do that for warm up. But i've always been one to compete with my self more than anyone else.

It's what makes you better who gives a **** about anyone else right? I do it for the love of training, and could care less about anything else.

Carbs that low are going to make you tired, the fact that you are getting stronger is pretty amazing though, good job!

GVT can be brutal, especially to the unitiated. The cns can get blown away if the trainee is not in touch with his body.. Other wise its a great tool to in training arsenals.

Sorry that it's been awhile since i updated. I ended up in the ER on Sunday morning. To make a long story short i started getting sick saturday night at about midnight. With a pain in my side and constant need to take a piss. By 5:00 i was in enough pain that i was throwing up and couldn't stand not taking a piss every 2 min's even though nothing came out. So i headed to the ER where i found out that i had a Kidney stone. They gave me some pills and sent me home and i felt much better until 3:30 on monday when i started passing a second stone. This time with some Flowmax (that's the actual name) and knowing what was going on it wasn't "as" bad. Needless to say that i haven't been to the gym since friday and i'm not going back until atleast tomorrow. I have stopped taking any Supp's until this is through my system.

GVT is great Jin... it can be brutal once you pass the 4 week mark if sleep/diet isn't going perfectly though.

Well last week was pretty much a bust. I only got to the gym on friday and tryed to do a full body work out so nothing was missed for more than a full week. When i got on the scales Friday i was 6 lbs down from where i was a week before. Needless to say stopping your cycle in the middle to spend three days on the couch barely keeping anything down is not the best way to drop weight.

Today:

Bench 165 10x10 supersetted with
Rows 110 10x10
Back flye 110 3x10
Incline bench 135 3x10

I think that next week i should be back to where i was 2 weeks ago. After this week my hectic schedule should calm down. So maybe i can really focus on finishing this cycle the right way.

Diet: I have went back to normal carb's right now i'm more worried about getting my strenght and size back then cutting. I got a chance to log Forged Burner so i'll start that soon and worry about cutting then.

Thanks guys this week is going to be really, really busy I didn't get to the gym worked straight through lunch. Tommorrow won't be any better and Thursday I'm supposed to go to a local collage all day for a group doing a project on my company. When this month is over things will go back to normal and I'll be able to devote more time to this cycle.

Ok so I know i've been away for a while but i did hit the gym some last week just not consistant and not my regular work out. I tried to more less do a full body work out on thursday to make sure i didn't miss any body part to badly.

Today:

back to GVT

Bench 170 10x10 only got 8 on last set
Db back row 80lbs
Back flye 110 3x10
Incline Flye 45 3x10

Well my strengh is about back to where it was before getting my Kidney stone. Which isn't to bad concidering i missed 1 1/2 weeks and went 5 day off my cycle in the middle with no Pct. I have just under 2 weeks to try and get this cycle back on track. I already know that i'm going to miss Friday work out being out of town for work unless the Hotel has a decent gym wich i doubt.

Question: I have Torem and PP TRS stack for my Pct what do you think is the best way to run them. I don't feel shut down to much yet but i don't bounce back as well as some so i like to have a strong PCT.

Toco-8 is started during the cycle, then I'd suggest simply starting the rest of the TRS and Torem at the same time come PCT.

Some do say to start cortisol control around week 2 of PCT, but I don't know if that's favorable or not.

Thanks i was thinking the same. I started Toco-8 this week. I think that i'll start Cortisol control same time as everything else. I was thinking of starting my fatloss stack (all natural) the third week of my PCT. So it should boost my cortisol control.

Yesterday

Noramlly this would be my squat day but there wasn't any racks available and i couldn't wait any longer so:

Hack press 150 2x10 warm up

Leg press 480 10x10 superseted with
Calf raises 480 10x12
Hanging leg raises 3x15

What dose should i run the Torem at ?

Today's workout:

Today is supposed to be my light day

Incline crunchs and incline leg raises
Db side raises 15 lbs 3x10 with my shoulder hurting this was about all i could do.
Seated Military press 95 3x10 normally do 125 but shoulders where shot after side raises.

Shoulder shrug 225 x 10 315 x 8 365 x 2 tried 385 but grip wasn't up to it.
Eliptical 10 min
Kind of a crappy sesion but my middle back is sore today from leg presses yesterday and i really don't want to screw up my back again.:whiner:

Today's workout:

Ezybar curl 70 10x10
Skullcrusher 70 10x10
Indv. pull down's 100 3x10

Worked good doing my pull downs after my arm workout seemed to help me target my Lat's which is probly my weakest area and hardest to get a good work out on.

Overall thoughts: I defintly started to notice more vascularity in my Arms mostly my forearms but starting to notice some in my Biceps. I also have that great rock hard feeling. All in all i'm pleased with results so far i think that i would be doing much better if not for missing 1.5 week's in the middle. I'm back up in weight and strenght with probly just a bit more BF mostly do to going back on carb's (a bit to much) trying to make up for the loss in strenght and size. One week to go.

The back/lats is probably the hardest muscle group to achieve that mind muscle connection with. Rows upon endless rows, week after week, year after year is the only way. Practice makes perfect my friend, keep it up.

Ok so i'm down to my last week. Decided to go back to more of my normal routine so i can get a better idea if i'm loseing strenght during my PCT and up coming cut.

Bench after extened warm up
205 x 5 sets x 5-7 reps. 7 on last set
Incline Db 50 for 8
Incline 55 2 x 8
Cableflye 40 x 10
Cableflye 50 2 x 10
BB rows 135 3 x 10
Backflye 110 3 x 10-12 12 on last set
Incline leg raises 3 x 18

My bench is still 10-15 lbs below for those reps where it was before a small tear in my left peck in Febuary. I think that i should be able to improve on these numbers even during PCT since i've just been focusing on high rep muscle fibers for the last 10 wks even before starting the GVT.

Not to bad. It broke some blood vessels and turned black and blue for a while. After 3 weeks i could start using light weight again. I can still feel it every time i bench especially until i'm completely warmed up. Hurts worst when i do dips.

To make a long story short. I missed going to the gym for about 2 wks. I stayed with my wife when she was in the hospital. Where i got a nasty flu. Any how when i finally got back to the gym i decided to "take it easy" so i worked up to 215 on bench instead of 225. Second set in i got a sharp pain and couldn't lift the weight. Someone had to help me rerack the bar. I never saw it comin at all thought i was going easy since i was off for awhile. I had even done several warm up set working my way to 215. It's taken me months to get my head back in the game without being overly concerned by injury.
