alright, ill try using a bit less to see if it helps. if you smell like in the bottle should the scent be strong, or mild?
The opening on the bottle is pretty small, which means the scent has a higher concentration. Once on the skin, especially after UV exposure, rate of evaporation of the volatile compounds increases exponentially, resulting in little to know residual scent.

Just whiffing the bottle, you will notice a light scent - this is unavoidable given the nature of the ingredient profile and the Napalm content.

i tried putting much less on, and the smell is still strong. when you whiff the bottle, it isnt a light scent but a strong one. i dont mind and neither to a couple of my friends, but my family and many others are disgusted by it and wont shut up. it amazes me how people react so strongly to a scent thats not even very bad....

my friend just ordered another bottle of atomic meltdown, his has practically no scent in comparison to mine..there is a slight difference in the bottle of ours...the bottle itself is the same but mine has a red cap and his a black, also he has a lid on it, kind of like the lid to a spray paint bottle where mine did not. i think mine was either an old batch or a bad batch. is there any way this could be taken care of, as i feel like i wasted my money...i cant go around smelling like pancakes all day. i have even tried showering within an hour afterward and the smell stays.

There is something wrong. While we breifly used Red caps, we have never sent out any without overcaps.

Black caps are the most recent.

the black cap one does have an overcap on it, my red cap does not. the red cap one i just received a little over a week ago. is there any way i could send this one in exchange for one without such a scent, as there is still atleast 3/4 of the bottle left, and i really dont think i can continue using it with this scent...im on the verge of getting it banned from my tanning salon...i dont notice it because i wear it, but they tell me it smells up the entire salon.

I just tried Atomic Meltdown for the first time on Sunday in the tanning bed. It frankly smelled a little like olive oil, but the young lady at the salon said she thought it smelled like chocolate.

I was honestly expecting more of a "tingle" than I got, but the color is good. The mad scientist in me wonders what would happen if I put it on with Eviscerate -- that tanning bed makes me sweat like crazy.

I was a little dismayed to find it stained my palms slightly, but that came off -- I guess it was the bronzer.

I have used it with Eviscerate on. Not bad, just burns a little more and increases sweating. Well that and the red color you can be when you come out. However since that goes away after a bit , no biggie.

Wasn't the Meltdown supposed to "tingle"? Just curious -- I'll be trying it with the Eviscerate when that gets here -- I just ordered the stack special this morning.

As I discovered, much to my chagrin, with my wife, there are VERY wide tolerances to tinglers.

While with many products I cry and itch for hours, she MOCKS me incessantly and yawns at my dilemma.

Others cannot stand any tingle.

We hit the middle ground with the product.

Looks for Atomic Meltdown Apocalypse about April of 2010.

Yeah, it's funny -- the guy at the tanning salon was going on about this one product, Trinity. Apparently some people found it way too harsh and complained bitterly. I noticed it, yeah, but ehh . . . it did itch more AFTER the tanning session than any sensation during it. He's trying to find something called Paradigm, which he said was the hottest lotion he ever tried.

I'm actually thinking about mixing the Trinity and Meltdown this evening and see what happens. I need to get darker.

I'm actually kind of looking forward to seeing what happens with Eviscerate. I know, I'm weird. I enjoy the heating sensation -- it helps my muscles relax.

If you need a beta tester for the Apocalypse, let me know.

Well, definitely keep you in mind.

Have you tried the eviscerate preworkout on the muscle you're going to be working out?

VERY impressive.

Man I just got bummed out. I placed an order Tuesday night when Atomic Meltdown was out of stock(but I picked up the Eviscerate Stack) but was really hoping to try both and compare them to Dermatherm Target which I need to use also.

The guy at my tanning salon was NOT impressed <grin>. He tried it on his skin, and said it gave him no response or reaction whatsoever. He said the fact that it was watery in consistency suggests that the bottle was old and the volatiles in it had lost their potency. He wants me to get my money back, but I'm not sure yet.

Sorry about that. I'll be trying the E with it when it comes in, and see if it's any better that way.

Well, I got my new bottle of Eviscerate yesterday (and I'll crosspost this to the E topic). Rubbed it into the waist area, chest and shoulders before my workout, then drove the 25 miles to the gym.

There was a warm sensation about halfway to the gym, but it didn't get intense till I started hammering the chest -- then it really heated up, right and proper. A happy side effect was how warm and loose the muscles felt during the workout. My shoulders and elbows felt better than they have in a while.

I look both seriously swole and VERY red under my tan. It's still going on the waist two hours after my shower!

What was a bit startling was how much the feeling intensified when the water hit it during the shower! DAMN! Now THAT hurt! <grin>

I now have to decide if I have enough balls to rub it in all over before I tan tonight . . . that's going to be intense!

::chuckle:: -- and the man quotes from "Idiocracy" to make his point <grin>

Don't worry -- it won't go there. I did realize this morning I need to wash my hands better after putting it on -- I had to take a leak before I left for the gym, and well, THAT was . . . interesting.

I don't need to tan as I'm brown, but was wondering whether this can used as only a topical fat loss agent? In the UK its half the price of evsicerate and napalm. If its nearlyas effective, I would rather use this.

It is designed to work with UV light from the sun or sun-beds. It's not quite as effective on it's own as the others.
