I just wanted to get ya'lls opinion on what the best peanut butter to eat?

Nutrition wise? They all seem to be pretty high in fat and carbs.....

Just wanted to know ya'lls thoughts

I go with organic unsalted natural peanut butter. No added sugars, oils, or salt. The no salt is just a personal taste preference.

They're all going to be high in fat because, well, peanuts are high in fat. They also have carbs, but as long as they're not added carbs in the form of sugars, I'm cool with it.

The carbs from natty PB are very low (~8g/2 Tbsp) and usually have ~2g of fiber in them. Adding PB to your nightly protein is a good idea because it not only prolongs the AA stream in the blood, but it also supplies a good source of healthy fats.

agreed any natural peanut butter that only has peanuts and possibly salt in the ingredients is great. Perfectly fine to eat during a cut, just realize they are calorie dense

Trader Joes has a great natty PB ...

either "creamy" salt or no salt added

or

"crunchy" salt or no salt added..

also natty almond butter is a good choice if you like almonds

personally I go with crunchy no salt added...it's delicious

I'd skip peanut butter for cutting, but for gaining I'd say go for the organic natural kind. Maranatha is one of the best brands I know of in terms of health.

I just opened a new jar that has flax seed added it kind of a weird texture has 8 carbs per 2tbsp but 4 fiber, it is a nice change of pace I ahve been eating PB while cutting and I would say the only downside is not overeating it cause it is so good i honestly think I could knock out a jar in a sitting no problem

I'd bet money those ground flax seeds are rancid.

I user power butter, basically just PB with added egg whites, so higer in protein.
Doesn"t taste bad, you only have to get used to the somewhat dryer texture

why buy peanut butter with rancid omega-3's in it?
For these products with omega's and flax included (especially by smart balance)...you don't taste anything except what you should be tasting.

Smart Balance makes a light mayo and a butter that both have omega's and flax...and are both very tasty.

If it's walmart brand then I'm guessing it's full of hydrogenated oils... bad news.

I didn't say anything about taste.

I said why buy peanut butter with rancid omega-3s? Rancid omega-3s aren't good for you. They're not good to consume. They defeat the purpose of taking in omega-3s. They're ****ty products.

I use Fitnutz Peanut butter-
It's a powdered peanut butter that is all natural..
It's awesome to mix some up with a litle bit of water and use it just like regular PB. (It rocks in Protein Shakes!!!!)
I love it cuz I can take it with me and use on the go-
The chunky is fantastic!

haha thats crazy that a powder PB can come in chunky status. I'm almost intrigued enough to buy it just to see what that's like.

So for this stuff does one tbsp of dry mix equal 1 tbsp of "peanut Butter" when mixed with water or does it actually equal more?

It is prettry much 1 tbsp dry equals the same amount as 1 tbsp reg peanut butter, but I find that I actually get more out of the mix- maybe because I can mix it the way I want, thicker or more thin.
One bag has lasts me alot longer than a jar of ANPB does- which is good because I eat so much of it now!! lol

i just use JIF's natural pb, as its the .only one I can find locally, except for sometimes skippy but it has more carbs in it than I'd like. I mainly use it for late night snacks when i'm cutting(like now).
