At least not on a continuous basis without simply overtaxing your CNS and overtraining.
Agreed, and not just on the CNS aspect. With a lift that compound and at such intensity, your muscles and general energy levels simply burn out.

Post Workout Thoughts:

Another pretty good workout. Weights felt heavy, but I pretty much maintained my numbers across the board. I attempted barbell shrugs at the end of my workout, but once again my lower back was not in condition to do so. I think this coming up week I'm going to do my deads with a belt and see if it allows the rest of my workouts to go problem free the rest of the week.

Weight upon waking: 202.5 lbs (not happy about this...hopefully just water and such)

Cycle Day 18

195 x 12
205 x 10
215 x 8
225 x 6

PCT Day 4

185 x 10
205 x 10
215 x 8
225 x 6

Pretty much consistent here. I could have pumped out quite a few more reps on the 185 if I had chose to do so. I didn't realize I had started with 195 the week before or I probably would have done so again today. Still, I'm glad to see the numbers maintaining here.

Hey bro, as far as the weight loss goes, don't worry about it. SD keeps a LOT of glycogen in ya. I lost 4lbs during my PCT after the SD cleared my system. I didn't look any smaller and strength didn't really decrease, but the scale said I was 4lbs lighter. It's all good in da hood bro. I'd stay of the scale for a week, keep training hard, resting good, and eating like a beast. Then get on it again and see what it says. We are bber's, so the scale doesn't really matter anyway. It's all about the mirror. Numbers are looking good btw and keep tearin shyt up!!

Back Squats

345 x 10
365 x 9

Leg Press

4 x 15

6 x 18

Post Workout Thoughts:

Very nice workout. I decided to do some back squats today for a change. I haven't been squatting much lately because of my back and when I have squatted it's been front squats. Surprisingly my back felt really good and my strength didn't appear to have dropped off much since last time. I'd say in a few weeks I should be able to throw 405 on again for reps. I will say the weights felt extremely heavy just because I'm not use to having that much weight on my back.

On a side note: the little gyno flareup I had earlier in the cycle has almost completely disappeared since starting PCT.

Thanks for the support bro. I'm not overly worried about the weight drop as I was expecting a little bit at the beginning. I've been hovering around 200 the last couple days, so it appears the weight loss has stopped. I definitely feel and continue to look bigger, so I'm not really worried about the numbers (body weight). Plus my lifts have maintained so far, so I'm happy with my PCT up to this point.

I was thinking that it would. A huge fluctuation in hormones during a cycle is what leads to this "preliminary" gyno IMO. It usually subsides with PCT and a balancing of your natural hormone levels. Keep up the good work. Hit the heavy weights during PCT. Make sure you recover well between workouts. I believe you'll keep most of your gains this way. KEEP BLASTIN' TT!!!

Post Workout Thoughts:

Great workout yet again. My weight in the mornings is still low but my weight when I get to the gym is staying consistent. I actually managed to improve my lifts today so PCT continues to run smoothly.

I didn't have my normal workout partner today, but I had another source of motivation. Now that school is back in the usual people who aren't there in the summer are back and there is this absolute monster of a grad student who always works out at the same time I do. He's about 6'2" and I'd guess somewhere around 250 or more at around 7 or 8 percent bodyfat. He was benching today and worked up to a set of 6 with 405. Nothing motivates you more than seeing someone else through around insane amounts of weight.

I love to see others improve during PCT. A lot of people sink into some sort of post-cycle-depression or something. They lose their motivation and drive once they go off the anabolics. How sad! It's a simple scenario of mind over matter. If you don't mind, then it don't matter!!! I always maintain or even gain strength during my PCT's. You just gotta keep the weights heavy, eat properly, and get adequate rest so you can recover and continue growing. Keep the faith and the fire brother TT!!
