I'm looking for a spring meet possibly. I have a lot to figure out. I'll be running test for 12 weeks (maybe an oral too), smolov for 4, then I'll run a program of my choice. Weird day. Nothing scheduled, I just wanted to celebrate the end of the semester.
Cat back pull downs: 30x4
Heavy bag work: damn this gave me memories of how technically proficient I use to be. Lol. And how much better my cardio use to be. I use to run 6-8 miles daily. I don't think I could run 2 right now.
Cable crunches: 20x3
Russian twists: 50x2

Yeah dude, takes a while to get it right. Most important thing is foot work. Your hands and feet have to be in sequence or it won't flow. I miss it man. First thing I'm going to do when I get some free time is train some MMA. I have zero ground game.Originally Posted by jimbuick

I've trained with this kid for a few years. He's 1 of 3 fighters from my gym that's training at/with Floyd Mayweather and managed under Al haymon.
Chris Pearson, now 13-0 (10 KO's I believe). National champion, Olympic fighter, 147-9 amateur record (ranked 2nd in US at the time).

Luckily, I was pretty strong from all of the lifting I did for football so a lot of times I could out muscle my way off the ground.
But, outside of that I was screwed. Especially if they were good, cuz then I'd get tired lol.

I use to wrestle state qualified wrestlers in high school just to get my ass beat. I weighed 200 they weighed 130-150 and every time they would single leg me and control me to where I couldn't get up. They never pinned me, cuz my hips were a lot stronger, but my ass never got up once.

Lol my heavy bag is sitting outside asking me to come visit. I stopped doing MMA as much now that I'm more serious about training... too many little injuries here and there to be risking it.
