    Thanks bro, yeah my legs are bigger than my upper body. Farmers tan can't really help it, I lifeguard in las vegas haha.

  3. Day 1.

    Ok today was day 1 of DC training, I got less than 5 hours of sleep last night but woke up and downed 2 scoops of alphamine and 2 scoops of c4 which probably wasn't the best idea.. I also trained fasted this morning. As for the weights I started out decently light I think so that I have room to improve on lifts and not start out too heavy etc. I also weighed in at a bloated 146 today, 6 lbs heavier than I was when I took my pics when I was depleted, this is the highest I have weighed in awhile and my abs were washed out, I took a break from counting calories after I took the pics, ate some cookies and ice cream etc but was still surprised to see the scale that high lol.

    Workout went well, besides the end, I believe the mixture of lack of sleep + all the stims + being fasted just made me want to puke, I was very close to throwing up and it made my deadlifts very half ass'd. I love the way I felt in the beginning though, pushing to failure with rest pause technique just does somethin to you, makes you feel awesome knowing you gave it everything you got haha.

    These are all my starting weights for the DC log, and also my first time every recording my weights. RP = rest pause set, SS = straight set. Rest pause sets were done to failure then 12-15 deep breaths inbetween sets.

    Workout 1A

    Flat DB Press - 50lbs RP
    Total reps- 25 -16x6x3

    Shoulder Smith Press to Front - 105lbs RP
    Total reps- 22 - 14x5x3

    Wide Reverse Grip Smith Press(a** off seat)-95lbs
    Total reps - 22 - 13x6x3

    Hammer Strength Lat Pulldowns-1platex25-RP
    Total reps - 29 - 17x7x6
    These were also effected by lack of energy left and feeling sick..

    Deadlifts- Straight Sets
    225x4(stopped cuz this set I seriously was about to throw up lmao)
    225x5(wasn't gonna do another set but manned up and did what I could)

    Calories will be around 28-3000 today, here was my fastbreaker.

    Whole grain oat cereal, 1/2cup milk, 10oz chicken breast, bbq sauce, 1 slice whole grain jelly toast, and some broccoli.

    Total cals ~ 680 96c 73p (didn't count the calories in the broccoli)

    Sweet first session. Keep pushing each set until you truly can't go anymore (see yourself fail, don't go until you *think* you can go). You're using big negatives on the rest pause right?

    I'd bump up the weight on those hammer strength lat pulldowns by a lot. Is that a plate and 25lb on each side? If so, go ahead and try with another plate. Otherwise add 40lb.

    Thanks bro, yeah I am doing controlled negatives, I could probably slow it down a little more but I was making sure I was using proper form and coming down decently slow. Yeah that was a plate and 25 on each side, I will up the weight next time, just kinda was getting a feel for everything today. Felt good xD.

  9. Day 2

    Burn Day today, did 35 mins of fasted cardio, Incline tread walking around 10-11% incline 2.6-2.8 mph, total cals burned 270. Fast break was 10.5 oz chicken, 32g bbq sauce, greek yogurt, 3 whole eggs, 2 slice ham, 1 whole wheat tortilla, broccoli, and a mini slice of pizza. Total cals ~1225 58c 104p.

    Gonna keep carbs to a minimum in my next meal, keeping cals around 2200 for the day, trying to clean up a little bit im lookin a little blurry :P.

    Edit: had to add in an ice cream cone haha, low fat cookies an cream frozen yogurt is just too good. cals ended for the day at 2125 106c 195p.

  10. Day 3 Workout 1B

    Well todays workout went really well, the widowmaker squats man, I only had 135 lbs on but it felt like 225, controlled reps making each rep count rly hurts lol, on my last rep I wanted to just drop the bar, did a 2 second hold at the bottom and then pushed it back up xD. As for the lying leg curls my hams have always been really weak, I feel like they will grow though, they felt really nice and tight after my set! As for the calve raises I started with 2 plates on each side and after 3 reps I knew it was too heavy, the enhanced negatives and 15 second hold at the bottom makes the weight heavy real quick. Dropped it to 1 plate on each side and finished off my 12 reps.

    Straight BB Curl-55lbs (did these with a bench press bar)
    Total reps-30 17x8x5 RP

    Hammer Curls-30lbs
    Total reps - 14 (straight set)

    Standing Calve Raises-90lbs(will just forget i started with 2 plates and increase next time)
    Total reps-12

    Lying Leg Curls-55lbs
    Total reps-23 14x7x2

    Squats-
    185lbsx8(straight set)
    135x20(widowmaker)

    Fastbreaker was 10.5 oz chicken breast, 1 greek yogurt, PB n J sandwhich, and 1 serving of whole grain oat cereal. Total cals 955 91p 91c.

    Total calories today, 2900 230p 340c

  13. Burn day today, Didn't really count my calories, didn't have time to pack food for work.. So I ate from the buffet we have at work, chicken pesto with mixed veggies without the pita bread, 2 chicken breasts, some salad, tuna, heap of broccoli, a couple potato wedges, and a small low fat ice cream cone. Dinner was Chicken breast / thigh, sausage link and a spoon of PB. Then I hit 10 mins of cardio at the gym, 10 mins of abs, and 30 mins in the sonna.

    Olympia expo is tomorrow and I am calling off work to go! Gonna be tons of fun, free supps / food, so I won't rly be counting the cals from all the protein bar samples and pancakes they will have there, but its only one time a year gotta have fun!!

  14. Alright finally did workout 2A, workout got skipped last friday due to being busy, I am going to do 4 days of lifting this week to make up for it I think.

    Workout 2A
    Decline BB Bench 165 lbs
    8x3x2 total 13 RP

    Shoulder DB Press 55 lbs
    9x5x2 total 16 RP

    Close Grip Smith Bench 135 lbs
    11x4x2 total 17 RP

    Wide Grip Pullups Bodyweight
    12x6x4 total 22 RP

    Hammer strength rows 90 lbs each side
    13x6x4 total 23 RP

    Idk why but I feel like doing high volume training so bad, it was killing me today not to run over to the dbs and start doing more chest exercises, hopefully I wake up sore and am glad I didn't.. something about me just wants to do volume training.

    Edit total cals for the day was 3100 protein well over 200g.

    Felt good today, the widowmaker was really hard, but I loved the way my legs felt after they were completely spent xD. Something about me still wants to do more volume, idk why, hopefully DC proves me wrong I just feel like I am not getting sore enough even though I am pushing every set to the limit.

    Ez Bar Wide Grip Curls 55lbs
    11x5x3 total 19RP

    Pinwheel Curls 25s x12

    Seated leg curl 90lbs
    11x5x4 total 20 RP

    Leg Press Calve Extensions 4 plates
    Slow and controlled 12 reps 10 second pause at bottom of movement

    Leg Press
    10 plates x 8 reps SS
    6 plates widowmaker 20 reps.

  16. You want to be "more sore" hold your stretch for more than 60seconds. That'll do the trick.

    Yeah I guess I will really push the stretches more.. I hit 90 seconds on some, 60 on others. I think its just hard trying to get used to changing up my routine. But obviously something needed to be changed and alot of people swear that DC is amazing, I just can't help but feeling I didn't do enough but hopefully that feeling fades.

  18. What I can say is, when I leave the gym after a DC workout, I'm friggen gas'd. I probably couldn't do anymore volume if I wanted. Throwing in static holds helps intensity also.

  19. Yeah I did a static hold yesterday on my chest workout, felt really good, idk maybe I'm just crazy lol. I am feeling more sore as the hours go on so that's a plus!

  25. Did 30 mins of LISS/MISS cardio today with a 10 min ab session and 10 minutes in the sonna. Burn day today cals will be kept in the 2k-2200 range.

    Edit: Total cals today were right around 2100.

  27. I'd rest a little longer on your ss's. You want to be fresh. You also want to add weight. So say 115 for 12, then do 135-45 for 6-ish.
