Look up low blood glucose & stimulants. It increases the symptoms of low blood sugar, & insulin slows down the digestion of stuff. If you drink, try using a diet drink as a mixer & let me know how much quicker you get drunk.
On a keto, your blood sugar is obviously lower than if you ingest carbs. I notice an acute difference from my cup of coffee on keto vs. regular diet methods.
I may do an experiment, hmmmm. Next week do blood glucose levels then take Herat rate reading very few minutes and do the same on a more traditional diet.

Decent workout today, I got busy at work and missed a meal so when I was working out, I was starving!!!!
Hammer machine preacher curl
70x17RP
DB Pinwheel Curls
40x12SS
Seated Leg Curl
130x23RP
Low Stance Leg Press
315x13
285x20
* need to feel this out more, just kept hitting reps!
No cardio at all today, looking forward to my carb up 2maro. Didn't have any intra carbs today either.
Can't believe I've been on keto for 4 weeks now, crazy how time flys. I planned on only going 6 weeks keto but this recomp is going extremely well so I may draw it out further with slightly more focus on lean mass. More carbs intra & slightly more calories for the day. Carb loads will stay the same

Diet has a slight change to it, bought some protein & macadamia oil this evening so those tuna meals will now be 40gr protein & 1tbs oil. Everything else will stay the same. Really just trying to cut the sodium down, eating the tuna was an additional 1.5gr of sodium!

Picked up 5lbs of some choc mint Pro Forza? It's the nutri-shop brand, kid gave me a sample and I think it's delicious & low carb. It was $60 for 60 servings but Beverly's was the same $$$ and less protein per scoop (21 v. 30)
I wanted to go with a truenutrition blend but its just easier to go to a few minutes down the road haha

Puuuuuke! Well almost, lot of dry heaves though.
Gotta love the widow makers lol!
For calves I've read a few different counts. What are you doing? I've read hold 8 down 6, and hold 12 down 6 or some **** like that...

Only a few ppl I've ever trained with are good workout partners, only 1 that bought into DC. Thank goodness my gym has a lot of hammer strength, smith machines & cages.
GUARANTEED! Depending on people is an unnecessary frustration.

Upper back is pretty sore today, across my shoulder blades. I decided to do a little more of a sh!t load today, won't be doing that again. I feel like crap. Back to sweet potatoes, granola, & brown rice pasta for this guy.

I started 5 down, 10 stretch. Kills me! I used to do 10 down 5 stretch but I lose focus on my calfs. 5 seems to keep it and 10 at the bottom, well words cants describe the feeling.

Hey DW do you have lower cals on your cardio only days or do you eat the same number of cals day to day?

Yeah, but the foods are the same. It's just that I have my intra shakes on my workout days, so about an extra 250calories.

Ah ok, was just wondering because I was thinking of changing the way I cycle my calories between workout / cardio days to just eating the same amount of cals every day. Was thinking there might be a possibility of building more muscle if I stay in a caloric surplus more often and just keep it a 3-400 cal surplus so I gain less then a pound a week.
Any advice?

What are they like now? Sorry can't remember.
Yeah a surplus of that is good when you're natural and looking for lean mass. The weight won't climb as fast but it will be quality size. Reason I'm doing what I am is because I'm "recomping" which is treating me pretty well.

It's cool but basically right now I am doing high cals / carbs on training days around 3200 3 days a week, then dropping them to maintence or slightly below not really sure on cardio days which is around 2200-2400.

If you're doing cardio on non training days, eating at maintenance would be ideal.
I will eventually add carbs into my DC routine, when I do, I plan on going ~300 surplus on SUN/TUE/THUR/SAT & closer to 550-600 on training days (only difference will be intra shake like now)

Pretty good stuff, I usually hate the 1,3DIM but its treating me well thus far.
