It is really a sick ass program. I have been alternating his 12wk 3 phase program with DC back to back for a while.. He focuses on staying healthy/injury prevention and really making the weight work for you, and not just using overload to grow. It really gives the joints a nice break, and is mentally brutal just like DC. He has a ton of bad ass variations of movements, etc.

I think this will give you the volume you are looking for while breaking from DC.

If you are like me, and love the mentally challenging aspects of DC, where you are at war with the weights, I think it is right up your alley. FST-7 is boring to me(but you may love it). His shoulder and leg routines are epic.

    I split it into a 4day split.

Here is his Youtube channel so you can see some of his variations.

yeah I love the challenge of DC! Thanks for the links, I'll look into them! I have a friend that swears by FST-7 and I've done a few workouts with him. I want to see if all this hype around it is legit.

Oh I know what you're saying. Man that stuff looks crazy, i want some lol.

This past DC blast makes me kind of want to enlist Dante, Skip or one of those guys for a 3 month blast. Getting an itch to compete, either on stage or at a meet.

Dante doesn't take people anymore and skip mostly does nutrition. I worked with him a few years ago. Scott Stevenson is Dante's go to guy for DC training and the man. Scott is a great prep guy too.. Pretty sure he does Dave Henry's preps.

John Meadows also has super reasonable rates on custom training programs. His site is mountaindogdiet.com. I may spend some of my tax return on that. Lol. He has done amazing things with some of his clients I've been following .

Really? I'll take a look. If I enjoy that training maybe I'll he that route.

The one thing that makes me hesitant about the DC route is not having a training partner/competent spotter. Back in late 08'~09' I had a DC partner who was 100% in and gains were outstanding.

Ya I've always trained alone so I feel your pain. I've learned to do well on my own though and prefer to lift by myself unless I can get someone that is 100% .

John meadow's stuff is really a blast. Just makes the gym enjoyable. You think widows are humbling try them while pausing in the whole for a sec or two, or 3 sec negative squats.lol

Well looking through pre&post workout supp's the past few hours. Dymatize and their expand series looks pretty solid, IMO, both are simple and sweet with a short list of ingredients that WORK and no 1,3DIM!!!!!
