    P5's Cut then Bulk w/LG


    This is my very first log so I'll take advice and criticisms!

    I have always been lean and it was difficult to build any muscle unless I ate, ate, ate, and then ate some more. I still drop wt easily from not eating enough while on vacation so I take my tubs of protein EVERYWHERE! I will be cutting through January, then Feb 1 I will start to lean bulk again. I may be inspired to do another mini-cut before summer.

    Age: 40
    HT: 5-7
    WT: 160
    BF: ??

    Supps for this log:
    LG's MMV2- for recomp/cutting/muscle hardening
    LG's M1D- for the lean bulk stage; growth!
    Muscle Pharm Shred Matrix- energy, thermogenesis
    AppNut Neovar- creatine for cell growth and nutrient partitioning
    CL White Blood- NO for the pump/vascularity
    Napalm- for the stubborn mid-section

    Training Split
    M- Cardio AM/PM (typically a morning brisk walk, 40 min and evening is at the gym: 45 min treadmill 15 degree incline @ 3.3 mph)

    Energy: I felt ready to go with the MMV2, clean energy no jittery. Cardio was easy even though my iPod died, needs JUICE!

    Pump: First day using NO supp in a couple of years, didnt notice too much yet. My biceps were more vascular while curling, good to see.

    Day 3 01/04/09


    WT: 164, I am gaining a little over the past days because I lost 5 lbs while being sick last week.

    Supps:

    Cardio: 20 min low intensity (140 HR). I was exhausted after leg routine, I almost didnt do cardio

    Energy: I felt ready to go but leg day is tough as you all know. That and my Sunday eating habits are lousy, so I wasnt ready for the most part.

    Pump: Okay, nothing to speak of.

    Tomorrow> CARDIO= 45 min

    Cardio: 30 min low HR (130) elliptical. I HATE cardio as most do, but it seems to get easier and easier as long as I avoid the monotony. At least there was the Ball St-Tulsa FB game.

    Energy: I usually feel ready to go as I take MMV2 30-40 min before the gym. Today I had time to spare as my meeting ran late. I felt amped and fidgety but not too bad, just ready to hit the weights. My drive was tough, pumped and ready, almost some road rage!

    Pump: No major pump feel, but did have energy. I don't know how much I will feel from White Blood while taking MMV2. Last time I used it was only Green Bulge/White Blood stack so I felt a difference.

    WT: 163

    Cardio: 45 min, low intensity jog/walk, approx 2 miles.
    New route with more hills, I walk the uphill (fast walk) and jog the downhill.

    Kind of scary, I am not hating cardio much, it is getting very easy to do and sometimes extend my time. Maybe it is motivating to imagine the results over 4 weeks.

    Energy: Morning is smooth, no jitters. Preworkout I feel the MMV2 as I get to the gym, not overwhelming but good focus and primed to go.

    Pump: Biceps were killing on the hammer curls as I got to 6-7 reps, had to really work for the last 3. Arms seem bigger, moreprominent bicep vein and in the upper chest/shoulder.

    Energy: does MMV2 take some time to "feel"? Each day gets better, I was full of energy and wanted to keep going on every set.

    Pump: Legs were great, I increased by squat from last leg day by 3 reps each set and lunges were easier. Triceps were full and tight.

    Tomorrow> CARDIO= 45 min

    Energy: I felt good throughout the day, never too jittery and I want to extend the workouts now, but not at the expense of overtraining.

    Pump: Bicep vein is looking gos, shows me some progress. Preacher curls killed, could barely flex at the peak of contraction.

    I'm using original Neovar, got it when on sale for $10! I do have Neovar recomped too.

    Should I eventually eliminate Neo as we get closer to Feb 1? Especially as carb intake goes down.

    Took today off as my meetings went late and I felt extremely tired . . . actually exhausted.

    Tomorrow is legs/triceps. After the last increases on leg day I am excited to see what I get done tomorrow. I'll also try to get some update pics for the 1/2 way point.

    Its it up to you. I think you should be fine though... I have not heard many cases of heavy water retention while on neovar
