This is my very first log so I'll take advice and criticisms!

I have always been lean and it was difficult to build any muscle unless I ate, ate, ate, and then ate some more. I still drop wt easily from not eating enough while on vacation so I take my tubs of protein EVERYWHERE! I will be cutting through January, then Feb 1 I will start to lean bulk again. I may be inspired to do another mini-cut before summer.

Cardio: 30 min low HR (130) elliptical. I HATE cardio as most do, but it seems to get easier and easier as long as I avoid the monotony. At least there was the Ball St-Tulsa FB game.

Energy: I usually feel ready to go as I take MMV2 30-40 min before the gym. Today I had time to spare as my meeting ran late. I felt amped and fidgety but not too bad, just ready to hit the weights. My drive was tough, pumped and ready, almost some road rage!

Pump: No major pump feel, but did have energy. I don't know how much I will feel from White Blood while taking MMV2. Last time I used it was only Green Bulge/White Blood stack so I felt a difference.

Cardio: 45 min, low intensity jog/walk, approx 2 miles.
New route with more hills, I walk the uphill (fast walk) and jog the downhill.

Kind of scary, I am not hating cardio much, it is getting very easy to do and sometimes extend my time. Maybe it is motivating to imagine the results over 4 weeks.

Pump: Biceps were killing on the hammer curls as I got to 6-7 reps, had to really work for the last 3. Arms seem bigger, moreprominent bicep vein and in the upper chest/shoulder.

I'm using original Neovar, got it when on sale for $10! I do have Neovar recomped too.

Took today off as my meetings went late and I felt extremely tired . . . actually exhausted.

Tomorrow is legs/triceps. After the last increases on leg day I am excited to see what I get done tomorrow. I'll also try to get some update pics for the 1/2 way point.

Its it up to you. I think you should be fine though... I have not heard many cases of heavy water retention while on neovar

Cardio: 45 min treadmill avg 15 incline @ 3.0 mph. Seemed easy today, maybe I took new pics before the workout and wanted to keep the progress going. That and the Laker game was on so I was distracted.

Energy: Presses were tough because I did triceps yesterday, I usually have a 1-2 day break between tris & chest. So it wasnt so much a lack of energy, but muscle fatigue.

Pump: Nothing extraordinary, usually dont get much pump on chest/shoulders. Vascularity is increasing in biceps and front of shoulders . . . very exciting.

this is the lowest I have been in a couple of years. I stay lean but have never done a cut. Over the past 5-6 yrs I stick around 165-170 depending on if I eat enough to grow!

Cardio today is a 2fer:
AM-45 min brisk walk with the doggie
PM-45 min treadmill

A workout is out of the question! I am hurting all over. Is it the increased cardio? Decreased carbs?

thanks for checking in carib. I am pleasantly surprised that people notice my legs, but I do see some growth and definition coming in.

2 more weeks of cutting, it is getting tough. I feel sore all of the time, is that from lowered carbs? Recovery is not as good as when I get to EAT, EAT, EAT.

I don't think the increased soreness is due to the cut, more likely it is the result of increased training intensity/volume from the MMV2. Personally I don't get more sore when I'm cutting, just have less energy in the gym usually and get fatigued more easily. Keep it up though, just two weeks to go and then you can start to EAT EAT EAT! You're definitely looking leaner now than at the beginning of your cut so what you're doing is working.

Took today OFF!!! I felt lazy and crappy til late afternoon. The I get home and felt like heading to the gym, but the lousy place closes early on Sunday.

Tomorrow is back and biceps along with cardio AM & PM.

This is a really good log. How far are you going to take your cut? Are you just planning on losing some fat so you don't get too fat on your bulk or are you trying to get lean cuts?

I decided to participate in the AM Contest so I have a goal to work towards. I didnt gain as much as I hoped throughout Aug, Sept, Oct. Busy sched, illness . . . but I didnt want to quit. I'm trying to come in as lean as possible for the Feb 1 date. I really don't gain much fat, even with a lax diet. I am quite busy daily, always on my feet and moving so that helps.

Energy: I took MMV2 closer to workout but I felt more energy as I finished squats and went into Single leg squat, just kept pumping out reps. Usually on the last 2-3 I pause for a couple of secs, then finish . . . not today!!

Pump: Tris were full and hurtin on the kickbacks and rope press. Veins poppin without workin the biceps or shoulders, looks like progress.

Cardio: Are you kiddin?!? After legs, NO WAY. I will walk the dog later on so I get a little stretch. Legs were already tired for the double cardio yesterday.

Next 2 days are quite busy at work so I will take off from wts and just do cardio, 45-60 minutes now.

Compliments on my legs was great motivation! Just want to get in there and still improve, thanks. What are my weakest areas so that I can focus on those the next few months? I think its my back, no width . . . but my shoulders are not wide so I am at a disadvantage. I hate when I see guys with B R O A D S H O U L D E R S yet they do not even workout, just naturally wide . . . lucky!

Yeah I got lucky with broad shoulders and pretty big delts...where I lucked out was legs...still skinny, but improving! Glad yours are showing improvements.

The lower lats might need some improvement, try throwing in some wide grip pull ups and see what that does for your back. I also don't think your shoulders are bad man, you're starting to get that 'V' shape which is awesome!

Thanks, the V may be coming in from the diet too as my waist gets smaller. I am much wider than I was several yrs ago, but some have w i d e shoulders naturally. I will get back to pullups, right now focusing on pulldowns with a lighter wt to focus on the contraction.

Cardio only today: 45 min jog/walk, who knows . . . I may extend it to loosen up my legs from yesterday.

I am starting to see more upper abs. Now if the area right around the bellybutton would go away! People at work say that I look like I have lost wt, so that is good I guess. Dont wanna look like I lost too much, then it may be muscle.

I cannot wait for wts over the weekend, I hate taking days off from training but I know that it is necessary

The black background was from the advice of my trainer, only cost me $10. I am not wide to begin width but I know that is probably my weakest area.

Cardio: 45 min treadmill avg 15 incline @ 3.0 mph. At first I thought about cutting cardio short, no motivation or energy. Probably the limited carb intake today.

Energy: I had the energy just the strength seemed to be down as I get strict on the diet. Ididnt let my ego get in the way and I dropped the wt so that I could get hi reps.

Pump: Nothing extraordinary, usually dont get much pump on chest/shoulders.

1 week to go so I will slowly cut the carbs and get ready for a re-feed on Sat to saturate the muscles. Cardio is a must-do, I cannot weasel out of it like I did in November. Tomorrow is Back/Biceps with 45 min cardio.

I was drenched! I felt like I could keep going, it was nice and easy. First time breaking 500 cals!

Energy: Felt good between sets and really pushed to get 10 reps on everything

Pump: Hammer curls gettin painful in the superset even though I dropped to 25 lbs. Arms felt ready to burst

Tomorrow is AM cardio then in the afternoon I will do legs and tris . . . no possible way to do cardio AFTER legs

Energy: Felt great, energy is always there. Everyday I want to keep training. It is never overwhelming, just a nice focus and mind is ready to go. I just have a little antsy feeling on the way to the gym, tapping to the beat of the music,

Pump: Legs poppin on ext and tris hurt on the contraction on rope presses.

Cardio: NONE

Tomorrow is AM and PM Cardio then get ready for some carb depletion on Tue, Wed, Thurs
