Low carb diet question

    Arrow Low carb diet question


    I have about 15 days to do my final cut and was wanting to try a 3 day low carb with a 1 day high carb load cycle does that sound good?

    Example:
    Mon, Tues, Wed. - low carb
    Thurs. - High carb
    Fri, Sat, Sun. - Low carb
    Mon. - High carb
    Tues, Wed, Thurs. - Low carb

    ....And that is basically it and it just go on and on for the 15 days. The high carb replenishes my glycogen stores and makes my body adjust to the changes and the low carb makes me use more fat for fuel than normally. Thx 4 the help.

    what bf% are you at and what are you trying to get to?

    Macros during low carb days? Macros during high carb days? What type of diet are you switching from? How do you plan to train while on this diet? You know, if you have never been low carb before then 15 days is probably only enough to get adjusted. We will need some more info from you to give you any sound advice.

    I have been on and off low carb diets I lift heavy about 6-10 reps and do cario everyday cause I know thats most important. Its all working well but it is kicking my a$$ bad. I think I need to consume more calories but without carbs its alittle harder than normal.

    it is hard, up the protein where u can and up the fat. at some meals im eating 4 tbs of natty PB 400 cals right there.
