All MRs and Bars?

Ok, for one month im thinkgin about going ALMOST strictly to bars an MRs.

I mean this as in a bar for snacks. MR drinks as meals but with something like veggies or chicken or toast or eggs.
I only will do this for a month before i go on a trip, i wann be in the leanest shape i have ever been.

I also want to do this to try and disprove the idea that without whole food youll wither away and not stay/ grow at all.

Im prolyl goin to go with the MetRx, Pure Protein, EAS, and Cliff bars and main souces of food and snack.

Like i said, all these products have vitamins and minerals in them and so doesour food. FOR SCIENCE AND BODYBUILDING I WILL DO THIS! I will log it. I will be using other supps to be decided eventually.

Untilthen, any idea on good ones or any input?

PEACE.

EDIT::: The title should have bee RTDs instead or MRs.

sound like a good idea, i'll bet you will manage to not wither away.lol. just curious.. where does sugar alcohol stand between plain sugar and complex carbs? couldnt find it w/ "search" and have heard some contradicting answers.--since you find them a lot in bars--

Try DS Sustain Bars, I hear they are good. I haven't tried them but have been wanting to try them.

So have i. Ill have to look into what bars will suit me best and at what cost, cause i know this shyt will be expensive. A case of 20 i think MetRx Big50s are $50+ i think.

So figure each item will be in a 20 qauntity, at $50. ill need 3-4 items of shakes and bars, i ll be pushin $200+ I may revamp so its one meal morn and the rest in the day.

Like i said i gotta lot of thinking about it.

QFT. The Apple Pie is such a deviation from the norm, it's great.

CLIF Builders... I absolutely love the Peanut Butter. Great thing is that you can pick them up wholesale at Sams.

Well if you're going to do this, then I bet you'll get to try em all!

Personally, I have never had a protein bar I didn't enjoy. I don't eat candy bars, so they effectively become them. My recommendation would be to drop by GNC every now and then and look for their clearance section. Every now and then I catch a clearance on their bars... picked up a dozen or so Myoplex carb control bars for 79 cents a piece last time.

I too have had the Detour Oatmeal bars, and they were great (most noticably filling). Pure Protein makes some delicious bars as well, which could be cost effective at some stores (my local supermarket sometimes has them on same for $1 a piece). Cliff bars... delicious. I could go on for hours.

While you're on that trip, stop by your local Supermarket chain. Not sure if you have a Big Y around you, but they have started to carry more and more protein supplements (at least at the store near me). I'm talking like muscle-milk RTD's, Myoplex RTD's.. stuff you'd find at GNC. Anyhow... "Pure Protein" bars are quite possibly my favorite snack. I believe the average bar is 20/20/6, and may have 1g sugar, but that would be it. Perfect snack bar, and they have been on sale for a dollar a piece at the place. Often the bars with 30g protein cost more than 2 dollars a piece, for comparison.
