PWO simple carbs when cutting

When cutting do you have to consume 100g of simple carbs during PWO meal??

Or do you always have simple carbs for pwo?

thanks

I don't use a 100g of carbs for any meal. I also stick to low GI carbs throughout the day. My post-WO carbs are oats and pineapple.

Agreed.

When cutting you should drop the simple sugars from your PWO meal. Stick to complex carbs.

I prefer Oats PWO. But it is something you can play with. Some people are fine to have simple carbs PWO. But 100g seems pretty high.

The key when cutting is Cals in vs. Cals out.

A Large whole wheat bagel with a little (1-2TBSP) Jelly has been my usual post workout meal . Delivers 50-60g Carbs from the bagel and 15-30g from the Jelly.

Just check out the labels of the bagels. Market Basket sells bagels with only 1g fat, but some companies like to use more.

Ive been cutting for a few months now and I have always used a maple syrup sandwich for my simple carbs... depending if I use 1 or 2 slices of white bread it can range from aprox 70-90 grams of carbs.

I do a modified dogg crapp routine 3 days a week and walk 30-40 minutes once or twice a day. Have cut about 4%bf in two months.

what doing an 30 mins of HIT weight training followed by 30 mins HIIT cardio on a slight caloric deficit. Would low GI carbs be best. like an apple... would something even as high as a banana halt the fat burning>? I would think there needs to be some carb-related glycogen replenishment or I will flatten out like a mofo
