Just calculated my BMR so???

Alright i just calculated my BMR.

I am 21
67 Inches
173 LBs

So the Equation said that my BMR per day is 1345 Cals. Therefore to gain a LB a day id need to eat 4845 Cals a Day. (Wont Happen) However I have been Eating 3500 a day which puts me at 15085 Cals over a Week which Translates Roughly to 4.3 Lbs Gain a week. This is not happening. Maybe Im a little more Active than it said or something.

Also I am on Super One+ So It could have something to do with my Gains. I read that Taking it you will Burn more Cals. So if i am already Eating 3500 Cals a Day and not Gaining should i Bump my Cals up to 4000 or even 4250?

My Nutrient Breakdown looks like this:
Roughly:
325-350 Carbs, 350-375 Protien, and like 75 Fat a Day.

Any Advice would be appreciated
Wildman

first, your bmr looks way too low. try again. Second, why you trying to gain a pound a day from straight calorie intake??? good luck chubby (haha). a good calorie intake would be 500-600 calories over your bmr so you will be able to gain a good 2-3 lbs of lean mass, with a proper diet and training. So think again about your total calorie intake and recalculate your bmr. I have a female client (5 foot even, a buck o' five, 20, female) who's bmr is around yours. (ha) Sage

Wildman, use the BMR veal chop gave you and go 500 cals above it. Or, just eat like you've been eating, I like that number better

I was thinking that the Number of Cals i have been Eating Is way better also. But FOr some reason im not Gaining as much Muscle as i thought i would?? I guess I just have to give it time!!! If i was to go above maitence (+500) that would be around 3200 right? I get that no Problem now +. I think the Super One+ is having a little to do with my Appetite also. Do yall think itd hurt to do 4000?

I was eating 5000+ cals while bulking. So, IMO, if you don't mind eating 4000, go for it. You may have to work a little harder during cutting. But, 4000 cals will ensure you adding muscle.

When I started my T1 cycle(20ml/day) I was 250lbs(6'2") I gained a shitload of size and strength increses were great. If you don't care too much about the fat, eat as much as you can. Bear in mind you should, of course, keep it clean.

Here is an excel program I created that does the BMR calc for you.

To maintain your current bodyweight,

if you are sedentary, 2648 cal
if you are moderately active, 3055 cal
if you are extremely active, 3564 cal.

Cheers,
