    what kind of workout can i do to focus strictly on my love handles and lower back fat?


  2. Sorry man, the only way to get rid of those stubborn love handles is to get your diet in check. Basically, you need to burn more calories your taking in.

  4. Good Diet along with a decent cardio plan will get rid of the love handles and lower back fat.

    Depending upon your genetics and your bodies bodyfat storage it may be very difficult regardless of diet and cardio. In men it is usually the last place to go. Meaning you need to be very very lean before you lose it.

    The only thing I can suggest besides what Achilles mentioned (which is the most important), is add a cortisol control agent like Lean extreme or a 7-keto transdermal, but even that wont help much w/o hard work.

    ^^^ I agree. I also have decent result from transdermal yohimbine hcl like Lipoderm. Have to already be losing fat with your diet/cardio, it just helps target where your body's preferential fat source will come from.

  15. I naturally have love handles at above 12% BF. Same as Glen they are the last to go. I can tell how my dieting is going by how much love handles I've got. I try to use it for dertermination to stay the course.

    Bottom line: Nutrition and exercise. And a lot of PAIN!

  16. Damn love handles. Mine are second to last to go. Just when it seems I have gotten the best of them (from the front view), I turn around and I still have that silly back fat.

  18. Love handles and lower back fat is associated to carb intake and glucose tolerance. Try eating more of a paleolithic (caveman) diet and taking some supps that help with insulin sensitivity. Stabalized R-ALA with tauine and biotin works really well so does grounding up fenugreek seeds and taking a tablespoon or two with breakfast and with dinner.

    A decrease in what? Where is the data to support the FACT that you lost FAT in your love handles?

    The point is that you likely did not loose fat. You strengthened/developed muscle underneath the fat making the fat appear to be less.

    When I go to bed my stomach will measure 34.5" and when I wake up it is 33.5". Did I loose an inch of fat in 6 hours sleep?

    I'm not saying that you may look more fit around the lovehandles, but I am saying you did not loose fat without a caloric deficit.

  31. On a more serious note, maybe there was more you were doing at the same time you started side crunches. I checked out you photos from the link and you are lean. So i am figuring that you had been working hard to get there and only noticed the loss of the handles after the side crunches had been incorporated. I say this because site specific fat loss is not a scientifically backed phenomenon.

  35. yes that could be the case. i am naturally a fat@$s. before i started working out i was in the area of 20-30% bf. and crunches is what i used and what worked for me. maybe diff for everybody u no?

    and of course a good diet, the most important thing

  36. Doing workouts in that area will just make the muscle build and actually make it look worser. I have experience that with my fatty chest and my lower back. I started to work my chest and build lots of muscle and now the fat on it looks worse and my lower back looks worse. But at least know I will have some nice muscle under there when its gone

  37. Man I dear a med report that said some peoples kidneys sit in different spots sometimes the body won't let some people lose that fat there bc its protection . I could be wrong thats just something I read . And from self exp . I've been super lean and could still see love handles.

  39. You definitely have to get your diet in check if you want to get rid of those love handles. Try your cardio in the morning on an empty stomach if your diet is clean already. If you haven't already. You should see a change. Also, change up the cardio duration don't always do the same amount of time every time you hit it. Change it up so your body doesn't adapt to it.JMO
