What is on your grocery list?

Im about to make my weekly trip to the grocery store to get my food. Im sure a lot of you do the same every week. I was writing out my list and Im trying to think of some new stuff. This could be a good reference thread. Here is what I usually get. Im cutting right now.

    Chicken Breasts
    Lean Beef
    Sliced turkey breast
    Whole wheat bread
    Liquid egg whites
    Wheat Tortillas
    Cottage Cheese
    Low carb Yogurt
    Frozen Broccoli
    Natty Peanut Butter or Almonds
    Oatmeal

My dad always has a garden so I dont have to buy many veggies. I still dont eat near enough of them though.

So whats on your list whether you are cutting, bulking, or just at maintenence?

LMD- I wish I knew then what I know now, so props to you. Your grocery list looks like mine now, but in college, it was something like:
    Crunch Berries
    Ghostbusters cereal
    non-natty PB
Schmidt, Pabst BR, or whatever else sold for $3 a 12-pack
    cheap vodka, brandy
    frozen pizza

...small wonder I never played college ball! Well...that, and that UC Santa Cruz doesn't play football. Lotsa stoned frisbee, though...

Haha no fruit because I can't afford it . I would go through it too quickly for it to be really affordable since I would put it in my cottage cheese (which I forgot to put on the list) and Oatmeal which I eat a lot of.

And yes I play Cornerback for FSU.

Milwood- Haha its funny you say that because I say that to kids I know who are still in high school. I mean I am 21 and if I knew then (when i was like 16) what I knew now I would have easily been recruited!

I feel the same way, whether it be football or top tier ice hockey.
At that age (16) you can go overboard and do yourself quite a bit of harm if you get too aggressive. Ignorance is bliss in terms of teens and anabolics.

Yeah, the turkey chili is pretty good. 98% fat free. I like to add a lot of stuff to it sometimes. Extra beans or rice, fat free cheese, hot sauce, salsa, extra can of chicken or even a can of drained and rinced tuna (i swear i can't taste it).

Great to hear man so do you start or get any playing time etc ? As I will watch for ya this year I am a loyal canes fan sorry hehe. YOur guys QB has been through some tough times as of late. I played 4 years of college ball also at a D-2 school wide out at a school in the MIdwest. I teach down here in AZ now and personal train. Would you mind sharing some of FSU offseason agility programs workouts etc? I work with a number of athlets and now coach high school football. I work with DB's and receivers and am always looking for new drills etc. My email is hagsaz@yahoo.com
Thanks and best of luck in your season

Yeah it is in a can and yes it is Hormel. 1.59/can at Publix, sometimes they have sales and make it 2 for $2. You can't really beat it when you compare it to larger named brands like Campbells, plus it has around 35 grams of protein, 52 grams of carbs (low gi legumes), like 6 grams of fat (most of which unsat) and it is something like 400 calories total

In Publix it is usually on the bottom shelf on the same isle as soups but not near the soups, its more towards the middle of the isle. In a red can.

hmm, never looked into turkey chili. Is it something that tastes good enough to just pop the can open, heat and eat? or is it something you need to make a recipe with? Need something like that, thats quick for me to eat while at work during my 15 min breaks.

ya, I just open the can, throw some pepper and half a can of black beans in it, then heat for a few minutes. It tastes pretty good, but if you asked my friends that's not saying much from me, so you definately need to try it out.

When your looking at the store it is on the right side

In fact, if you were to make a grid of any regular sized publix it would be at the precise three dimensional coordinates of 345.882,127.999,2.334
