    Short UD2 type cycle.

I read the Ultimate Diet 2 and start to try it. But I feel that 3.5 or 4 days of low carb diet is hard to follow. I was just wondering if a shorter UD2 type cycle will also work. Something like 3 days (acutely 2.5 days) low carb, 1 day carb load and 1 day at maintenance. What do you think guys? Do you think it will still work or the low carb phase need to be at least 3.5-4 days to be effective?

Why do you say so? It is told in the book that part of the reason a 7 days cycle has been selected was to make the diet easier, so the carb load and maintenance days would be from Thursday to Sunday. Why 2 days of low carb wouldn't work?

    There's a reason for this.

If you had of read it, you would have understood why this is needed.

Sorry but I don't find your answer of any help. What I want to know is if you guys think that a shorter cycle would be also effective.
