Minerals anyone?

Getting the right macro and micro minerals as well as traces could prove very beneficial (http://www.myodynamics.com/articles/vitamen.html)

But how do one get the optimal inntake? Ive been taking a multi-vit/min and felt content with that until i saw the following table:

So anyone out there taking their minerals in separate supplements (e.g. one for magnesium, one for zinc, one for phosphorus and so on) and combine them for max uptake?

Anyone tried the hair-analyses for mineral content in their body or is this just some snake-oil stuff?
