I need a diet that will get me abbs, i train them hard in so many ways but i need to shred more fat. Any ideas? Ive tried a low fat diet and carb cycles, and some fat burners. My current weight is 216lbs 6" tall pretty muscular.

To be able to see your abs it's all about diet. If you want to loose fat go into a caloric deficit, but bare in mind you have to set yourself realistic goals, depending on your current, and goal bodyfat. Work out you maintenance calories using an online calculator and for there take 250-500 calories off that. Track your calories on a daily basis and stick to it. As I said, it's a steady process, so don't expect to loose all your fat overnight

A certain diet won't get you abs. Low bodyfat and thickness of your abs largely contribute to if you'll see them or not. One can have moderate bodyfat, but not hold any in their abdominal region and can still see abs. Make sure your diet is in check and do weighted ab work.

Strong this^^^^ personally I'm not super low in bodyfat% but I always have visible abs because I train them pretty heavy (weighted leg raises, cable crunch, ect) and I've seen plenty of thin individuals with lack of ab definition because they lack that ab thickness

Yea I've heard if you train them with weight they will have more thickness and peak, and that is what I'm doing right now. My diet is not 100% strict I guess no more cheatmeals.

My current recomp diet is working great for fat loss. It's extremely bland however, so it takes some discipline to stick with it. Very basic layout. PM me if you would me to write it up for you.

You can still get abs with cheat meals and not a 100% strict diet.

Recomping ain't hard. Small surplus on lifting days, maintaince + cardio / small deficit on off days if no cardio is done. Boom. Simple. Don't over think.

Niiiccceee! Thats about where I am at! I just do 2,900 everyday though. I have been trying to find the right protein/fats/carbs ratio.

I jsut posted this in a another body fat question.

Here is the steps that I use for myself and my clients.

1. Diet! For simplicity sake, find your TDEE (Google). Start there.
2. Training with weight before you even think about cardio. If you choose to do LISS, take some BCAA's and do it fasted in the morning.
3. HIIT Training after weight training. 15-20 min. Go hard, dont let it get easy.
4. Repeat 1-3 until you are sitting close to 10% or less. Some will drop quick, and you can skip step 5 all together.
5. Now is when you add Supps. My favorites are Dexaprin+TT-33+Alphamine. Just recently started using that myself.

Only take the supps when you NEED to. They are not something to start you out or something to bring you back to where you "want" to be. They are an assistant to what you are already doing great at and thats diet and training.
