Hey guys, I saw this pasta at my health food store (then looked it up online) and thought it would make a great alternative to typical wheat pasta, check it out:

right. ive had a similar pasta (in black package...forget the name of the brand) however, the taste was suprising decent. A bit pricey of course compared to regular whole wheat flour pasta. good to try out though. Sage

Looks good, Jesse. I will look for some of this tomorrow. Soy protein isn't quite as bioavailable as whey, but not bad, and the only protein that can be used in the making of pasta. At least if you still want it to taste like pasta.

Remember, 15 years ago, soy protein was as popular as whey is today. All the bodybuilders prior to Yates relied on soy protein as their staple powdered protein supplement. This includes Arnold, Franco, Haney, Zane and the rest. Milk and egg protein was available from a few companies like NU-Life, but it was expensive, non-instantized, and tasted awful.

Yeah, just did last night, the taste is tolerable Actually it's the texture that is odd, but you get used to it. Definitely a good alternative for pasta IMO.

Netrition also carries a few low carb items, including pastas, bread and pizza crust mixes.
