Muscle glycogen: systemic or local?

    Muscle glycogen: systemic or local?


    So basically I'm trying to find out if when doing cardio or any kind of lifting ", if the body pulls muscle glycogen for energy systemically or strictly from the muscle(s) being worked.

    Just curious since I'm prepping for my next contest and I'm cutting. I'm trying to throw in some little tweaks here and there to experiment, and if someone can link an article or provide some factual data, that would be fantastic.
