I have a big bag of coconut flakes/shavings left from a tilapia recipe I made some time back, Now I'm wondering if I could use them like coconut oil as a fat source?

I'm looking for nutritional info, literature or personal experience with using the shavings. What I do know:
1 tbsp = 3.33g fats (medium chain triglycerides)
Somewhat high in sodium for a simple food
Mainly lauric acid and monolaurin

Can I use this in a cut diet for a fat source?

if its like reg shedded coconut meat, then 15g of fat would be 45grams.
I almost always use it in my pre w/o meal for morning training(22g=7g fat)seems to digest faster for me then almonds and other fats.

I'll keep that in mind. I can see it being easier on the gut and providing more immediate energy source. Yeah I would have to eat a ton of coconut, its not worth it like that. Maybe just to add some flavor to a shake/meal
