    Critique my body.

I am having a really tough time losing this freaking belly fat. I have this "spare tire" around my stomach, I have recently started HIIT training every other day about 2 weeks ago. My diet is in check. I started an ephedra and caffeine stack at the beginning of the week. Can anybody recommend some other workouts, I was injured Afghanistan so long distance running and sprinting is out of the question as I only have one good leg.

This morning I had 3/4 cup of cheerios with 1/4 cup of 1% percent, 1/4 cup of pistachios, and a bottle of water. Lunch is two chicken breasts with 1/2 cup of brown rice. Dinner is 2 Talapia filets, spinach with carrots, cucumbers, and avacado and balsamic vinaigrette. I am disciplined in my dieting so this will do for the next month. I am also working on increasing my muscle on my upper chest because of my saggy tatas. I did a cycle of deca when I was 18 and now that I am 22 my freaking boobs are just barely recovering. I was a dumbass back then. I am looking at cutting out this spare tire before I continue bulking. If any body has some tips on losing this stubborn fat let me know because I am tired of looking like a pear.

Up the Cardio from every other day to 5 or 6 days a week. Do HIIT every other time you do cardio, and Low Intensity the other times. Try it on an empty stomach and see if that works for you. And lift heavy, basic movements (squat, deadlift, and presses) 4 days a week.

Slash your carbs dramatically, and be persistent, and you will lose the spare tire!

Get a better diet , carb cycling could help as long as you keep it lean and easy...High carb day- Low carb day - No carb day (no complex carbs i mean , fibrous and veggies are needed after all)

High carb get at least some good 1.5grams of carbs per pound of body weight
Low carb get .75 to 1 gram of carbs per pound of body weight
No carb go for only 3 to 5 meals with veggies and the rest pure protein , if needed up healthy fats a bit so you are not too low on caloric defienciency , and throw in some calorie counting throughout all this...If you do Maintenance calories (or +20%) On high carb day and the rest are below maintenance you will still lose weight , try to have only 2 (MAX 3) high carb days in your week and workout heavily in those days (if so do back (and deadlifts please...) with chest on a high carb day and on the second one do legs) , low carb days are still workout days and never have 2 no carb days back to back...keep up the cardio either fasted , or twice a day (shorter cardios) , or once hiit long one in the evening , either of those is fine...but at least 5 to 6 days a week.

    Good luck!

Edit: ALSO cut the cereals...if you want nice carbs go for sweet potatoes , oatmeal!! without sugar or milk , old fashion and slow cooked...and throw in brown rice too!! Lima beans are awesome to keep it in check on low carb days too!!

I'd give a read on the Intermittent fasting routine (leangains) and look into empty stomach cardio.

It has been doing wonders for me and I had the exact same problematic region as you do (top 2 abs show, bottom is just a slush)

Stomach vacuums helped the appearance factor for that, but the handles and all is excess fat, it is just the targeted area, empty stomach cardio helped me on that one.

Look up lean gains. Works wonders. The first couple weeks are a bit rough whilst your adjusting to intermittent fasting but it's worth it in the end.

I would suggest a cortisol control supplement and a carb cycling diet has always been great for losing fat and preserving my muscle mass. You could start with a generic carb cycle diet such as high, mid, low carbs. When you get below 15% body fat I think the Ultimate Diet 2.0 from Lyle Mcdonald is an excellent read on a carb cycling like diet.

    Hey thanks for all the feedback, although I have looked at all of it, I have not responded lol, well I really got ahold of my diet over the past couple months, upped my cardio and cut out sugars, a typical day of meals is this;
3 eggs and a 1/4 cup of steel cut oats plain with water and a 24 mg protien shake
usually something like a mango in between meals
lunch is a lean protein, chicken breasts or fish usually,
typically a salad in between meals, a piece of wheat bread with natty peanut butter before I train
dinner is typically some sort of fish or chicken again, after the gym I have a scoop of creapure and 24 mg whey protien shake
In one day I will intake at least one gallon of water,
I try my hardest to cut out refined sugars, I do not drink heavily and if I do drink it is usually once a month, I also started to train in martial arts in this time

I got my bf% like 3 weeks ago and it was 13, I like to think I am closer to ten now.

Important to note is the first picture I was 225, I am now 209, shooting for around 204

hate to be the bad guy here but you are definitely not 10% in that last picture. Probably closer to about 15%. What method did you use to test?

Last time I was calipered it was 13% and that was around a month before that picture, 10 is probably low but 15 is very high bro.

Ya I would say around 13%, now its time to hit the weights! Stay heavy and build up some muscle, that will also cut down fat as well.

Wrong , get to single digits and then go for a long ass lean bulk, a leaner body is a more anabolic body...

To just call it "wrong" I would say it is a little extreme... Since a leaner body is a more anabolic body, but more muscles also means more calories burnt and therefore easier to lean... No right answers. Besides, a clean bulk after getting to single digits is awfully difficult.

Well true , it was harsh and dumb of me to say wrong , I just think it gives experience , shows determination and commitment to get to single digits , if you can do that for your first season at the gym (growth or cut season , those are the 2 terms I call seasons...) it will be easy to control yourself and start growing while staying lean , which helps a lot in noticing muscle growth and overall health.

But you are right , no right answer...its just a matter of taste and being able to decide and commit to what you are doing.

I have never seen anyone ever put on any serious muscle and stay "lean" while doing it. You may put on some muscle but it's going to take a long time.

Well i'm not really going for much more muscle what matters to me is staying in middleweight range So I am wanting to get down to very low fat around 195 pounds then slowly add ten pounds of muscle. My body responds well to anything, it has been fairly easy to loose this fat while still building muscle on Sunday I will post another picture as I am continuing to shape my physique. Thanks for all the suggestions, the fat just keeps coming off, I have really payed attention to a weekly caloric deficit rather than a daily deficit, in a typical mma workout I am burning in excess of 600 calories/ H, I train at least five hours a week, this combined with 2.5 mi fast paced runs and the traditional gym is doing me well. Thanks

    Excellent progress, man.

    Keep going.
This last part is usually the hardest.
Keep a check on those calories and keep the activity level high.

Figured I would throw an update up, I got down below 200 somewhere around 197, then about three weeks ago I decided I was done with shedding fat due to me becoming so freaking skinny, none of my pants fit lol, but hey I lost a great deal of the fat on my body and now I want to gain some muscle. I have gained about a pound maybe a pound and a half in muscle in the past three weeks, and I would like to keep my gaining pace to around 1 lb of solid muscle a month. I am still running two to three times a week, one of those runs is >5 miles the others are just under three. I am not trying to become Mr. Olympia or anything, I just want to put on around twenty lbs of pure muscle in the next year and a half, all naturally. I will continue to upload on this, as it is some motivation for me.

I have been working on gaining some muscle mass and eating pretty clean it feels good to see results like this, I feel like I have come a long way, my core looks thicker from muscle gain and I feel like my chest has come a long way, my diet is dialed in and I weigh around 206 currently. Strength gains have been great. Thanks for all the encouragement I have gotten on this thread.
