Reccomended amounts of sodium...

When trying to control blood pressure and/or bloat while on androgens, what's a relatively low amount of sodium to stay at or rather consume? I'm guessing everyone's different, but is there some sort of ceiling that is reccomended by perhaps the AMA, etc?

I've read that the recommended amount for healthy adults is 2400 mg. For those with high blood pressure, the amount is 1500 mg.

Articles says that the American Heart Association recommends 1000 mg for every 1000 calories and total Na should not exceed 3000 mg.
