1. best way to calcualte for weight loss

Can anyone give me the formula that some use to calculate how much calroies a day they need to drop down to the desired weight? I am 250 wanting to get down to 175-190. Also can I get tips for best fat burning foods. I eat lean meats but need idea's on healthier side dishes and snacks. I try to eat nutts and fruits, but are there any other tricks. Thanks

2. this is what I use from Team Scivation. It is a pretty simple calorie formula and will get you into the ball park of where you should be. Every body is going to get different results from different numbers. Your best plan is to gat a base and find your maintance level and then go from there.

body fat (15%+) Endomorph = 28-31 calories/kg
body fat (15%+) Mesomorph = 32-35 calories/kg
body fat (15%+) Ectomorph = 36-40 calories/kg

For example, a 180lb male at 22% body fat who is a mesomorph body type would equal:

180/2.2 = 81.819 Kg x 32-35 calories/kg = ~2,600 – 2,900 calories
As for specific foods grapefruit and blueberries have been shown to help but dont rely on any magic foods to do the trick for you. To get there it is going to require time, determination and lots of hard work. Best of luck to you
