what am i doing wrong?
alright guys and gals, there's something i'm not seeing here. i've been putting on a little fat, well, it thinks it's fat because my belly is distended a bit, more than it's ever been before and i need someone to point out what i might be missing.
4:00am 2 scoops whey protein, 1/2 cup egg whites sometimes with 1 slice raisin bread.
4:45 walk 1 mile then 45 to 60 minutes of lifting and another 30 to 40 of low impact cardio about 70% vo2 max. 2 scoops whey
7:00 1 cup egg whites, 2 scoops natty pb, 2 scoops of fat free cottage cheese
9:00 2 scoops natty pb, 2 scoops of fat free cottage cheese, 1 scoop of whey, one cucumber
12:00 1 chicken breast, 20 almonds, 14 walnuts, 2 scoops natty pb, 2 scoops of fat free cottage cheese
3:00 salad with just lettuce, a little dressing and a little bacon bits
6:00 4 scoops of cottage cheese and 1 scoop natty pb
now that i type that out i think i have a natty pb addiction. is there a support group for that?

Is a scoop a tablespoon?
It looks like you don't know the actual amounts you're consuming so you might be consuming more than you think you are, calorie wise.

if you're gaining fat now on this diet, whatever your intake turns out to be its above maintenance. slash 10%, keep logging, and see how it goes for a time. rinse and repeat

You eat 1 chicken breast and 1.5 cups egg whites. The rest is whey and cottage cheese.
I can't remember, are you on CKD?

Hmm.... so I calculate ~2200 calories, 245g protein, 95g fat, 65g carbs. Impressive diet. Idk.... is it possible you are leaving something out? Like 12,000 calorie chili cheese fries smothered in sour cream?

I'm thinking he may not even be getting fatter. Might want to get the bodyfat measured and test from there from now on.

i think i'm going to try and eat a little more, like 200 cals, cause i really don't think i'm eating enough. i mean i'm in the gym 5 to 6 days out of the week. and i'm not screwing around while i'm there either. just can't figure it out. maybe adjust macros too. decrease fat and increase carbs, but slow digesting ones. i've just never been as bloated as this before while cutting. maybe i'm just getting old.....

hmm cottage cheese .... I wish I could get that here in Japan... very hard to find in my small town and sometimes super pricey if they have it in stock. Do you know if its hard to make it?

my short term goals are this.....
remove all creatine from my diet
switch some of the PB for whole almonds
reduce my cottage cheese intake by 50% and replace with walnuts and caisin protein
add one can of tuna to my diet on a daily basis
re-evaluate in two weeks
