I am having trouble sleeping on my routine so not sure what I should change, this diet may seem a bit extreme to most of you but by my calculations it is for 1kg of weight loss per week and no more and I am meeting my protein requirement.
1000cal: protein:130g carbs:75g fat:20g
d1 1000cal
d2 1000cal
d3 1000cal
d4 2000cal
repeat

I am not carb cycling just calorie cycling.
All my carbs are wholegrain, low GI.
I am working my way up to 30mins jogging every day.
And I am taking caffeine tablets, about 100mg 3-4 times per day.
Supps: Multi, calcium+mag+zinc, iron(taken away from calcium, my ferritin is 40(33-200)), vit D, inulin.

I am also on prescription testogel and arimidex at normal doses.

I am 3 weeks into my diet and taking a caffeine tablet yesterday after a can of tuna I got a throbbing headache like caffeine withdrawal, this was helped by sipping some gatorade, I think it was a drop in blood sugar, diabetes runs in the family but last year my fasting glucose was normal.
My blood pressure is good at 110/70.

Last night I couldnt sleep I had been up for 20 hours and my last caffeine dose was 4 hours before trying to sleep.
I decided I had to eat as I felt I pushed myself too far so I went to eat some steak and eggs with some carbs which probably woulda put me to around 1700calories for that day, I went to sleep fine after that.

I dont wanna lessen my weekly calories as 1kg per week is my goal, I am thinking perhaps lessening the cardio, or lowering my daily caffeine, or even better would be changing the calorie zig-zag. Maybe my body is still adjusting?

Take some 5-htp and melatonin before bed...if that doesn't work then you need to be working out harder..you will sleep like a baby after an hour of lifting and taking a shake.

I dont know wtf happened, still dont know if it was too much caffeine or bad food timing, I dont think my body liked eating 6 times a day, I have changed it back to 3 times a day and decreased my caffeine intake and I feel better.

eating 6x a day will boost your metabolism.

having a boosted metabolism coupled with low calorie intake WILL cause headaches.

Apart from an exertion headache during cardio I havent had any.

I dont believe 6x a day boosts metabolism I think its a myth, I think food doesn't have a significant thermogenic effect unless a meal contains like 3000 calories, because I checked and my body temp doesnt change when I eat. I would have to eat like a pig to break a sweat.

And any other benefit from eating 6 times a day can be debunked here: http://www.fitnessspotlight.com/2009/11/10/how-much-protein-per-day-build-muscle/
