    For those Who Grind their Oats


    For those of you who grind your oatmeal and add it to your shakes, do you find that if you took (for example) a half cup of oats and then ground them - wud it still fill the half cup?? Seems to me like it wud be less since it's ground up so fine. I would try it myself but I don't have access to a coffee grinder or blender right now so anyone familiar with this feel free to chime in.

    Agree with TheUnlikelyToad. When I bought my coffee grinder, I thought that I'd get a 40% to 50% reduction in volume, but was surprised to find that it was very little.
