entertaining forms of HIIT?

  1. entertaining forms of HIIT?

what are some forms of HIIT which are less boring than the standard sprints?
    Any ideas?....

I was thinking a good one would be..
throwing around a frisby or a baseball as far as possible and then sprinting to fetch it. Although this seems a bit weird, it might be less boring for me than just doing multiple sprints.

  2. ice hockey. play a shift then suck wind for a couple minutes then do it again lol definately the most fun form of cardio for me, ever

    ...can you jump rope?

Jumping rope is one of the toughest forms of cardiovascular training you can do if done correctly.

There's a bit of a learning curve to getting it, but once you've mastered the technique, it's really good fun and extremely versatile as a training tool.

I tend to make my cardio training a calisthenic circuit rather than just one form of exercise, here's an example:

    150 turns of the rope
15 explosive pushups (clap push up)
    15 pullups
    15 squat jumps

Rest 30 seconds and repeat another 9 times, if your heart isn't racing by th end you're either incredibly fit or not trying very hard!

Work up to this crazy level of jump rope mastery!
