Hey guys, I wanted to start this thread so we could help each other getting through a CKD. Everyone who's doing a CKD, please share some of your recipes (preferably with pics) and macros.
I'll start.
I call this "The German-Austrian Conflict"
Ingredients: (Makes 2 servings)
2 Cans of Vienna Sausages (Smoked preferably)
1 Can of Sauerkraut
1 1/2 to 2 Cups of Water
1 Packet of Goya Seasoning (Coriander & Annatto)
Macros:
275 calories
25g of Fat
12.5g of Protein
2g of Carbs
This meal is pretty high in Sodium, as you might expect, which is great, given the amount of sodium required on a CKD.
Put all ingredients in a pot and stir. Heat on high for 5 minutes and then leave it on "warm" or the lowest setting for 7-10 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
