2 month cut
I recently finished a bulking period using Metyl 1D. I went up from 221 to 229. I'm sitting right at 13.5% BF. Im going to go on a 2 month cut during which time I will be using the ECA stack. I am also going to try a cycle of clenbuterol for about a month of the cut. My question is about calories. I was told by someone at the gym to figure on eating 15 cal/ lb. That would put me at almost 3000 cal a day. I know supposed to have 1.5 g of protein per lb which puts it at about 46% of my calories. What about carbs and fat? Should I have about 10% fat or more?

3000 cals / day is way to much for cutting. I generally do 300-400 under maintenance broken up 50% protein 30% carbs 20% fats

So its showing my maintance calories to be at almost 3000. If i shoot for 500 less thats about 2500 cal/ day. With 1.5g/lb of protein, 20% fat my figures work out to the following:
344 g of protein
157 g of carbs
56 g of fat

it will work ok, but its not really necessary to have that much protein, so fee free to drop it some and add carbs or healthy fats. Even in bulking I dont bother shooting for that much in protein. much over 200g a day is pointless

if you look around at studies, 1g/kg of bodyweight is considered enough for maintenance, so thats less than .5g/lb. If you look into the Anabolic Diet or any of the million and one ketogenic diet variations, the general suggestion is around .8g/lb.

Forgot to mention first 2 weeks of cut I will be taking LGs T911 as I finish coming down from my last cycle.

3000 too much for cutting??
im 6'2" 235 at 14% and im leaning out nicely at just over 3000 calories....and im doing no cardio......its obviously not too much for me....ive lost 4 pound in the last 15 days.

ill have to disagree here, during cuts you should be hitting the weights all the harder to keep the muscle on! the constant heavy load convinces the body that the muscle is needed to handle living, its all about fooling the body into thinking it needs the muscle which naturally it really doesnt want
