Anabolic diet

Forgive me if this has been answered.

I did the anabolic diet about 10 years ago and it worked wonders. The weekends was all pasta, pizza, ice cream, chocolate chip pancakes with hash browns, etc.

I did not count calories during the week or weekend.

Here is my question. Is it better to count calories? or I thought I read somewhere that calories dont matter on this diet.

Calories count in every diet. If you don't count them (or at least track portions) and you reach your goals then you gambled and won.

I would suggest that you take the food you normally eat in the course of two weeks. Count those calories find out what is in the food you eat daily.
Once you have that base for what you eat you won't have to so closely count them since you will already know what your putting in your body.
I believe that once you know what your eating you won't have to so closely count the calories so to speak but you will already know what each one is worth.
Keep in mind that if you see great results from X diet eating X food and so on wouldn't you like to know what that diet truely consisted of?
