Faulty product seal

Just recently got an order from nutraplanet and my bottle of supercissus had no outter seal and the inner foil seal was half missing when i took the top off. I contacted nutraplanet about a replacement or a credit, they gladly told me to ship the product back to them for a credit. So now i have to go out of my way to try and send your product back to them at my expense. Which may be weeks becasue i work six days a week and nobody is open on Sundays.

Anyway you guys could ship me a replacement for the product? I will gladly send this bottle back if you would include a return label in the package. This is about the 8th bottle of this product i have purchased along with numerous other products by your company. Also im just curious why you no longer use the quality seals that were on previous products i have used by your company?
 
It appears that you have the abaility to contact and correspond with NutraPlanet via private e-mail. You agreed to a resolution. If you are not pleased with the resolution you agreed to the why have you not taken this back up with NutraPlanet? You should continue to discuss this with NutraPlanet to your satisfaction. Otherwise I fail to see the motive of this thread?

Yes i do have that ability! In their reply they said that usually i would have to contact the company who makes the product but considering im a loyal customer of theirs they would swap the product out for me. I dont think its nutraplanets' responsibility to replace the product becasue of faulty sealing procedures by supplement companies. I dont have time to go to any type of shipping hub to resend this product back, working 10 hour shifts 6 dasy a week im not off when these places are open, so you see my dilemma.

Also im just curious as to why this company is using cheap tinfoil style seals on their product as compared to the quality seals in the past. Plus this lets the AM community know of this problem with their product sealing procedure.
 
Many times a retailer takes the liability in these instances and works out the resolution with the customer. They then take up product defect and resolution with the manufacture. It's often a replacement policy that larger, customer service sensitive retailers employ to keep their customers satisfied.

Again, like I mentioned, the inconvenience of the transaction could, and surely would, be able to be resolved with NP. They're good like that. I do see your dilemma.

No doubt NP is the best, why they are my sole supplement provider. NP dealt with the problem which i knew they would in a timely manner. I just sorta wanted an answer from the company about the seals. Makes me weary of ordering more product of theirs in the future if they are not properly sealed.
 
man just take it, who cares about a seal...hahah...im sure you will be taken care of. Both NP and USP are good peeps
 
Malfunctions are bound to occur and I wouldn't call our new seals 'cheap'. I get a large shipment of our supplements every month and have never received a broken or unopened seal. However, if you were are truly distressed or wish to discuss the sealing procedures more, feel free to e-mail our CEO at ceo @ usplabsdirect.com.
 
And this is why I will never own a consumer based company. I give much respect to those who can do an outstanding job. You say that you have got nothing but superior service and product by both NP and USP in the past and you have one minor issue(imho) and seem to not be remotely happy with any resolution other than they ship you a product first along with a return label.

I know you will make out in the end because of the upstanding businesses you are dealing with but as a consumer who has admittedly had nothing but great service in the past, you think you would have a bit more tolerance with a small mistake.

I also got a shippment like this about 2 months ago with AP and super cissus one had no outer seal and one no inner seal I contacted NP they said alot of usp bottles were like that from a certain shipment I just said F@#$ it and just took em I need my supps :food: and hell I'm still here I'm sure its fine unless you feel like sending them back and waiting, your call
 
This was handled by NP which i knew would be the one that would handle the situation the quickest. The replacement bottle i got had a totally different seal on the outside which the first bottle did not. Its funny how one person can ask a simple question about a board sponsor's product being faulty, the mods and board sponsors jump right on it defending it. Only one regular member other than me posted about the problem which they had dealt. I for one will not use anything that isnt sealed, lifes to short to put my health in jeopardy over a supplement. This place is slowly going to turn into another BB.com :sad:
 
I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. I stated my personal experience with shipments I have received, and directed you to the CEO of our Company. If that is BB.com-like, then I would suggest their standards have raised.

Every seal is applied in the same manne. One seal was foil, and one was paper. The bottles are filled in our GMP facility in India in a clean room. By chance we may skip a bottle(it happens to the best of them). With the foil seal, they break when you unscrew the top.

You are justified in your complaint.

I never been approached with your method of reconciliation of send me a bottle with a return envelope. As I said, You can return the bottle and I will reimburse the shipping cost.

We switched to a seal like you will find on water bottles that break when you turn the cap.

I'm glad that you are still using the supplement. If there is anything, i can ever do please feel free to contact [email protected].

I wasnt refering to how you responded, i was referring to mainly mods and board sponsors prior to your post. NP resolved my problem and i even received my replacement before you posted to this thread.
