Camphibolic or cissus rx headaches?

Lately I been getting massive headaches that last most of the day and it's even more intense when I workout. Today I felt like my head was going to explode and was afraid cause I felt like i was gonna collapse.

Question is can one of these or 2 of these together cause headaches?

I've searched and found that forskolin in high dose can cause headaches but i've never had problem with camph in the past But also in the past i've taken the 1st version. Now i'm taking the 2nd version with mucuna. I started taking 2 camphs in the morning and 2 in the afternoon and a day or 2 later the headaches started. Should I cut down to 2 in the morning only and see what happens?

My other supplements right now are Alcar , phos. serine, dicreatine malate.

thanks.

Hi Flaw - not sure how much Forskolin in a serving of cAMPHIBOLIC, but I have been using USPLabs C2 for some time now which is a similar product to cAMPHIBOLIC (minus the Cissus) and I have enjoyed the product a lot.

I have taken C2 around 6-8 caps a day (while the direction on the label is 3 + an optional 2 a day, I think) PLUS I have been using another similar product that contains Forskolin along side the C2, so I am taking in quite a bit of Forskolin daily, but I have not noticed any headaches.

Looking at you other supps, I recall when I first started using an Acetyl-L-Carnitine supp, taking the recommended dosage actually did give me nasty headaches, so I think you could try cutting the dosage on ALCAR, too, to see if it helps?

I will try dosing less of the alcar. I been taking alcar for years though. I did take a long break however and started out at 750mg 3x a day for a month. I recently went to 1,500mg 3x a day. Maybe i'll go back to the original dosing and I will try 2 camphibolics in the morning and see what happens.

The headaches have gone away at 2 camphs in the morning and 1 at night. 750mg of alcar 3x a day. 300mg of phos. serine. Now that i've lowered the doses I think the affects were from the alcar and serine . I'm think i'm getting aceytylcholine over load. Thanks for the suggestion man!

Hey, glad to hear that, bro!

I still think that the Alcar probably was the biggest culprit as you mentioned that you were off alcar for a long time and then when you started taking it again, you almost immediately bumped up the dosage to 3x1500 mg, which I think is quite of bit of Acetyl-L-Carnitine although some studies have gone to show that regular L-Carnitine actually has better bioavailability than Acetyl-L-Carnitine, which could justify the higher dosing on ALCAR, though.

I think I have gotten similar headaches just from taking 3000 mg of the regular L-Carnitine!:D

I'm think i'm getting aceytylcholine over load.

Good call, Flaw!
