Ap For Contest Prep

Hey guys i want to try Ap for my contest prep but i am not sure as to what it will do on a depleted cal's and a lower amount of carbs also do you think that once i stop using it i will flatten out?

just let me know how you guys feel about using it for contest prep.
i have pics the the pic section 13 weeks out is the title i am 10 weeks and 4 days now.

It really depends on how your carbs are set up. If you are doing a high carb low carb day I would def take on the high carb day. If you are doing a 40/40/20 split then I would dose the AP just like normal except using just 2 pills to see how that goes, or seeing how 3 caps a day goes and maybe upping the carbs if you are responding well.
 
Agreed, it'll be trial and error to see how much you'll need and what little tweaks you may need to get in you contest condition i found with a 40/40/20 split i was a little leaner with muscle gain being more pronounced, now i'm doing a 45/35/20 split and i'm getting alot leaner with muscle gains just coming on slower.
 
I'd never go below 20% on fats if i were u, your body won't function at an optimal level.
 
I've seen it done where specific days may be below 20% but never below 20% throughout the diet. And toss in some Dicana since your a thermolife rep, :)

AP will change Contest Prep as we know it. Trust me it will but it will take sometime for AP to be praised in that avenue. Contest Prep is a program that many competitors hate to CHANGE UP. The competitors that can figure out the best way to use AP while dieting will be leaps ahead of the game. He will have to Learn form Trial and error, but once he learns..watch out.

I have never dieted down for a competition so I can not speak from experience. We have 4 TOP Natural amatuers that will use AP in contest dieting. I have some great ideas that I can share if your interested.

Also Jmh a IBE moderator has used it with a one of his competitors that won her class.
 
well usp i am 10 weeks and 4 days out as a natural athlete getting ready for a show, maybe you could use me some how (wink wink) i am working with mike elias he is doing my diet and everything so everything is point on and i will have to convince him to let me throw it in the mix but if you would like to see first hand what Ap would do to someone in pre contest let me know

I hate to mess with Mikes program. You can have Him contact me directly at [email protected]. YOu should point him towards the write up. We are releasing thursday. If he agrees to add into your contest prep, I will send enouph to cover your prep. Mike should understand the bueaty of AP. the bottom line is that AP makes food anabolic. These 'nutrition experts' have to appreciate the claims. They may not believe the claims but they will appreciate the bueaty of the cliams.

Remember you pay Mike, You can tell mike that you want to add it in. AP is more effective at increasing glucose in muscle cells than insulin..Pretty powerful statement. What does that mean for the natural lifter? Your muscle Cells get FULL and fat cells get flat!

Interested to hear what you guys sort on on this..... in the past, I have used little to no carbs for 5 days of the week, and HUGE carb meals 2 times a week. The carb meals alone would give me a pump, and vascularity would be crazy. I can only imagine what it would be like with AP added in. Seems it would be beneficial to get the most out of what carbs you do allow yourself.

Starvation increases GLUT 4 so I suspect that cells are starved for glucose hence GLUT 4 is increased so Hence the Pump. Adding in AP will add to a synergy of GLUT 4 so just add more carbs.
