Cissus, anyone?

  1. Cissus, anyone?


    Two part question, and one of the two may be a frequently answered one...

    Cissus Rx, the bottle says take 2 in the morning, and 2 later on in the day
    Online, it says 3 in the morning, 3 later on...

    Which one do you guys use? Any sides? As strange as that sounds... could be possible.

    Also, I'm currently beginning to get back into cardio. I wake up around 9, but plan to lift around 1230. I could take them in the morning, but should the second serving come at 12? It sounds soon, but I know it's best to take before your workout.. or should I put off the first serving until I lift?

  2. Slightly dependant on your current weight but start at 2 before breakfast, 2 before lunch/workout and 2 before bed and if you still feel you could do with more up the dose until you're happy with the result to cost ratio.

    When I use Cissus RX I dose at 8 on workout days and 4 every off day.

    Wow, that sounds out of the ordinary, but I can definetly see the logic - good idea.

    I'm currently around 218, entering into a small cut... I'm using a 3 day workout schedule... would it still be wise to only run it heavy 3 times a week? I don't want to sell myself short, but I also don't want to waste them! Picked up 2 bottles by the way.

  4. Are you planning on using it for its' joint/tendon/ligament-affecting properties, or for its' mild anabolic effects? If the former, I would dose 2/2/2 per day as Ziricote suggested, and the same or 3/3 on non-workout days. If using it for its' anabolic effects, I would dose it at 12-15 caps per day, although for this use I would use the bulk powder to be cost-effective.

    I'd be dosing at 10-12 caps at your weight, if you're just doing a 3 day split I'd go for atleast 10 caps ON and 5 caps OFF which should last you 5 weeks.

  6. how much of an anabolic effect does cissus actually have, i have 2 bottles and was mostly intending on using it for joints but i would be interested to know the extent to which this stuff can work...thanks.

  7. I notice cissus's anabolic effects around 8-10 caps a day. With my dosing being 2 upon rising, 2 before wo, 2 after workout and 4 before bed. You basically want to take it at times during the day when cortisol is at its highest levels.

    It is my understanding that the cortisol plateau is highest in the morning then tapers off at end of day.
